- This way i never have to tie my shoes more than once! once these are tied they are done, no more fidgeting with tying them any more. make sure the tightness is as desired first. These knots can be undone to correct for size but it is tricky, better get a metal pin like a dart to get in there and undo it.

Awesome! glad to have helped! and it depends how you will be wearing them, i know if you expect to wear them with pants, thus socks, you'll be fine if they fit better that way, vs wearing them without socks and having them fit snug. Nonetheless over time they will break in and the leather will stretch and match your foot better. So if they are too big that"s unfortunate, if they are too small, maybe they are your bare feet shoes, and can break in over time.

Put one of the stopper knots in first with the lace out of the shoe. 4 loops. Install the lace and pull the knot up to the eyelet. try the shoe out for tightness while standing up. take shoe off, note the fit. Install square knot. Install another stopper knot on the bitter end and adjust, What, you the the term bitter end came from pulp novels, no they are sailing terms. See you around the bend. Oh and if you want less slack in the pull it from the heel end first. keep them tight, you don't want to slip off the boat.

Do you buy your shoes big? I've never owned a pair of shoes/boots that I can slip my foot into if they are tied...
No I don't buy them big, but they are not super tight to wear, it may take me a second to slip in, but it will fit for casual walking around.

I don't unlace them ever, I slip them on so they are easy to put on and take off, thanks!

guess you can clean around them as best you can, or untie the whole thing, but getting back to their original state won't be easy.

Are they tight or loose when you wear them with bare feet?
I mostly wear them bare feet and they fit pretty well. They have also broken in so i could readjust them soon.
