Something TERRIFYING Submerged On Oak Island That Canceled Season 12!
The story of Oak Island is fascinating and full of surprises. It all started in 1862 when the Onslow Company tried to dig up the rumored treasures. They dug deep, but at about 80 to 90 feet, water started flooding their site, stopping their progress. This incident sparked a lot of interest and led to many theories.
Some people believed there were tunnels connecting the sea to the dig site, designed to flood the pit and protect the hidden treasures. This idea got more attention in 1851 when something unusual was found under the beach at Smith's Cove on the island. Coconut fibers, not native to the area, were discovered there. This convinced many that a tunnel had been built to let seawater flood the pit and protect the treasures inside.

8:07 p.m Aug. 8th, 2024. No matter what or how little gold or precious stones they find, I love the information they give on the object. It is amazing on the items they find and the estimated age of the item. I mentioned before that my mother always received the Readers Digest, and as a young child , I read that story and kept her book so I could reread this story. I love the information that they give on each item, but I wish that they were on TV more. I understand that the weather plays into their time line. Please keep this going. Thank you. A believer. Same here!! Only it was my grandfather with the Reader's Digest subscription! I remember reading the story maybe a dozen times, pretending to search for buried treasure in the backyard. Until my grandmother put a stop to it because I dug up one of her rose bushes. LOL!
