This looks great and a reminder of me Mom. She used to make a very similar candy and she added candied cherries. In French it is called: "Delice au Chocolat" and it translates to "Chocolate Delight"

Sounds like the bars should be like fudge. I make chocolate fudge with chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Looks yummy.

Is this like “heavenly hash”? I remember a recipe from the 50’s that was called heavenly hash that was almost the same thing I think.
