  • After I built my table saw fence I realized that the next thing I need to do for my workbench is a crosscut sled. This accessory is fairly simple to build. It makes cross cutting operations a lot more accurate, cleaner and safer. If you want to build this crosscut sled yourself I’m giving you a FREE PLAN.
Here's the link to the plan: creativityhero.com/diy-projec...

Very clear in your explanation. It's not often you see near perfection with your type of setup. Not owning an expensive table saw but making do with what you have is a definite positive for your future woodworker career. Well done! You have earned another subscriber.

Well! what can I say!! I will begin by saying it was refreshing to hear a perfect fluent narrative, even that it is clearly not your Native Tongue, Second, amazing clear, concise and very detailed explanations and demonstrations. Third.. all the above embellished by the fact that you had very very subtle background music, not some overpowering thumping beat..!!! after all, we view this type of Video for education, not recreation!... I hope you very deservedly get thousands and thousands of Subscribers. You are an excellent TH-camr. Thank you. from Spain!!

Late to the party here, I just found this video. You've done an outstanding job presenting excellent skills clearly and succinctly; this is one of the better videos I've seen describing the construction of a cross cut sled and your explanation of the 5 cut method is particularly clear and effective.
And this is the first time I've heard the item I call a "wingnut" called a "butterfly".

    Hi Marija,
This video you shared has so much good information! I was glad to see the 5 cut formula displayed and simply explained. I plan on making this sled and stop block over the Christmas holidays. However, I took your sto block design into SketchUp and found one thing. If you pause at around frame time 9:32 in your video you have the downward stop bloc to the left of the t-track stop block, I think it would have more support on the left of the stop block.
    Great video!
