I have now had my Roma for 18 Months and have done seven thousand miles ( mostly on euro trips) and it's been brilliant. I previously had Porsche 992 which was great but felt nowhere near as special as the Roma.
Agree. I just have a 992.1 4S and had the Roma for a weekend. The experience was great, but the suffering from parking in the street and the amount of people taking pictures, made me reaffirm my decision for the 911.
I love Porsche and currently have a 718 GT4 RS, however, there is something very special about driving a Ferrari. I am glad you are enjoying yours after 18 months!!
Recently sold my 360 gated spider for a Roma. Likely the last Ferrari I purchase. It’s even more beautiful in person, and it is almost too perfect in terms of style, performance for the street. Nothing more I could ask for. Still love my DB9, 911, too, but there is nothing like the Roma for mature, Sports GT driving with an emphasis on the Sport. Bellissimo!
Nice video Mark. I have never gelled with the Roma. I would prefer a Calfornia T for even less of an investment while having a similar engine and power, Pininfarina styling and the added benefit of a convertible top.
To me, the Roma is stunning from the outside. However, when I sat in one, the idea of it fitting with my family and other cars went away. The back seats are tiny, so much that it is a 2-seater car, but not a true one. So, maybe you have a point with the California.
I have never liked the look of the California, but I do think the Portofino is an improvement. I think the Roma has such an elegant profile, but the rear seats are really only suitable for luggage space.
I agree, the Roma is a great car without getting into the silly excess zone like the F8 and all the other “super-hyper cars”. Sometimes there is such a thing as too much, but the car manufacturers seem to have trapped themselves in an arms race. Here in the USA Dodge was actually even selling 1000 horsepower cars for a while because Chevrolet and Ford were selling 750 horsepower cars.
I have reviewed a couple of MC20 on the channel. A standard MC20 and one with the ARIA carbon aero kit. The MC20 is a mid-engined supercar and feel very different in character to the Roma. I prefer the look of the MC20 to the drive.
It is a great car, particularly for the money. I tried one but went with a 992 turbo cab instead as thought it had the edge for usability, disliked the haptic controls and turbo 4wd gives more year round use
Great value for money for sure. I think these vehicles are colour sensitive and a bit off putting is that clustered steering wheel…..? But, goes like a bat out of hell…… Question please….. What car insurance company would you recommend coving your vehicle between Uk and usage in Europe …??
You said the 911 doesn’t have anything like the power of the Roma, the 992 turbo S has even more power than the Roma at 640 hp, so not an accurate point
@@francom2052 I was comparing it to the 992 not the Turbo S. However, a 992 Turbo S is a worthy comparison. Although I still don’t think the Porsche looks as elegant as a Ferrari
Fair enough, just for the money, and at this point we are talking about a couple year old Roma, the like for like comparison to my mind would be a couple year old 992.1 Turbo S, which are starting for a sniff under £130k making the Turbo S iteration of the 992 the perfect comparison to the Roma of all the iterations of 992 available in my opinion. I do agree that the 911 even in turbo s form, can never compare to the class of the Cavalino Rampante. Thanks for the videos!
This is NOT a review of a ferrari Roma...... this is an ADVERT for Ferrari Ferrari has the worst after sales care of any manufacturer. They way they treat their customers is with contempt. So many you-tube videos are out there about this
This is not an ADVERT. I was not paid to film this video. I enjoyed driving the Roma and I did highlight the bad points which are lack of luggage space and the huge drop from new. However, I now think it offers great value for money and in the right spec looks fantastic. I have heard similar back from Roma owners and two of my friends are now in the process of buying a Roma. In addition, the Roma has a two year warranty if you buy from Ferrari Approved Dealers and when it was new I believe it was offered with a 7 year service package. I have also owned two Ferrari models, a TDF blue Challenge Straddle and a black 430 Scuderia, both have featured on the channel. I have no bad experiences from Ferrari main dealers.
I am not sure why you hated it. I thought it was wonderful. The 992 Turbo is a great car and will appeal to a lot of people, but it is not as elegant as the Ferrari.

Congratulations on your new Ferrari Roma. I totally agree with you!! A really elegant supercar from Ferrari.
😂😂😂😂😂
Love my Roma. Mine is matte blue skozia with 2 tone blue interior. Such a great car. Service in LA is amazing.

Portofino / Cali t at least have a start button
I’m gonna say something very unpopular, I think that the Roma is a better car than the F8. Just my personal opinion.
I think the Roma is the perfect daily, given its relaxed driving character. It would also be wonderful on a road trip.

Both beautiful, for different targets and driver experiences.
Only thing I don't like is the crappy haptic interiors. Think these keep dropping to £80-90k
The spec is important, especially on the interior. I don't think they drop below £100k in the next couple of years.
One of the best cars ive driven but cant bring myself to chop the Lusso in for one,...
Driving any Ferrari at Maranello is going to be special. Very jealous, Marky! And the extended warranty your guest mentioned blew my mind
Yes, it was a dream come true to visit Ferrari. Hope you enjoyed the review of the Roma.
Driving any Ferrari at Maranello is never going to be a review, but an advert lol
No need for music for want of a better word. I just want to hear the engine & any information you have
MC20 looks better, performs better, close in price. Not mentioned as competitor?

A perf isn’t its rival and you can get a 992 turbo for the money you’re talking which is more powerful. Not sure why you said it isn’t.
You are right. A 992 Turbo is probably a better comparison.
A really really good review 😊
Thank you!!
I'd buy a Porsche Turbo S instead
Also a great car but doesn't look as elegant as a Ferrari Roma.
Used entry level car is cheaper after having been driven around for 3-4 years. Almost normal.
How many have come off the production line by now?
Yes, I think they have depreciated now to the level where they are excellent value.
Great 👍 video
Thank you!

NEEDS A SUNROOF
Beautiful car and video
Thanks!!
Love the Roma!!
Me too! I think it looks so good.
Roma is my favourite Ferrari
I can see that. It is a beautiful looking car.
Great value for money for sure. I think these vehicles are colour sensitive and a bit off putting is that clustered steering wheel…..? But, goes like a bat out of hell…… Question please….. What car insurance company would you recommend coving your vehicle between Uk and usage in Europe …??
I agree. I would choose TDF Blue or Viola HK. I use Chubb as an underwriter. I also heard Zurich are good.
love the roma but i think if i had the choice id get a roma spider 🙂
Haha definitely
But you won’t save the 100k Stefan !
I actually don't like the look of the Roma Spider. Prefer the coupe shape.
Sold 🫡
Many Jaguar F-type design cues on show
Beautiful UK weather 😂

Too much metal over the front wheel arch.
the brits get scammed on economy cars, we americans get scammed on exotic cars
Could you explain?
@@jafooliI believe he is referring to the pricing on these used exotics being MUCH cheaper currently in Britain.
Not for me , Aston Martin Vantage over this.
The Aston Martin is also great value now. A very beautiful car. However, I prefer the Ferrari to drive.
Zurich private clients high net worth. They insure my Roma spider

I hated this car when I did a test drive. 911 Turbo is much better and much cheaper .
I am not sure why you hated it. I thought it was wonderful. The 992 Turbo is a great car and will appeal to a lot of people, but it is not as elegant as the Ferrari.
I think Maserati GT is better looking and interior but you know this is Ferrari
What a waste of money buying a black sports car ! Looks generic bland and boring and dirty
I do think TDF blue and Viola HK are the best colour choices for the Roma
Sounds like a Mondeo
Bring back proper engines
