however, this year it looks like hosoda actually has a plausible chance of winning the oscar. we'll see.

This movie is absolutely beautiful visually, phonically, and in story. As a Japanese speaker, I saw this several months back in Japanese and was dumbstruck at how amazing it was... 100% worth a watch.

Exactly why I am here. The American English dub trailer was banned by SME, probably because of the music featured in the film. Hopefully they notice this issue quickly and can do something about it because if they banned it because of the music in the film that can technically be a dumb reason because they are distributing the film in America.
