The extension to 48 hours for the day 1 emblem is amazing for us players from the uk it allows us to fully sleep and be ready the following day instead of playing through the night and rushing the following morning
It also helps people that work a full time job during the week and or have a family too lol. I’m glad u can finally do it n not feel rushed that’s amazing
Was very nice, I was able to do the first 2 encounters and jumping puzzle before we all broke for the day. The lack of major server issues was nice too I was wholeheartedly expecting it to take hours before the raid would be playable
Your missing an extra thing to do, while doing the field of light or dark part, when nezerac does the wipe mechanic, you don’t need to be fast technically, the sound shoulder your shoot and break, the boss will glow like dark or light, depending on that, if he’s light, someone with a field of dark buff goes to a light seed up already and shoots it and anyone in the area of that seed will be protected from the wipe mechanic and won’t die
I really wish my group figured that out before we beat it day 1. We tried for a couple hours to figure out how to extend that wipe timer until we gave up and had 2 runners on each side, 1 boss stunner, and an add clear hammers.
My team just beat it, and here's how the wipe mechanic works: nezarec will either do a white or orange wipe mechanic (which we think is based on which shoulder you shoot first), based on which color he blinks, you need to get the corresponding protection. If you need the orange protection, you shoot the white node to get the buff, then shoot the orange node to get protection. Vice versa (orange, then white) to get the white protection
I'm pretty sure to avoid the wipe mechanic you can shoot a white node to get the light buff, then go into a dark node and shoot that so that you get a buff that protects you, not 100% sure though.
@@ElixrTH-cam if you shoot the white first and the dark second, you'll be safe from a darkness blast and vice versa for a light blast. it did work for us

Getting to dps phase is easy, but sometimes the phase doesn't seem to last as long and sometimes his health just seems to change. Looking at damage numbers for people who finished the raid already and for some teams there's over a 2.5 million damage difference. So it seems that he has less health for some teams
Everyone says his damage is easy but I swear my teams rockets are like sneezing on him where everyone else I watch just shreds his ass back to the darkness. Idk wtf we are doing differently
Tether, well, and Starfire + fusions, and either explosive light or clown cartridge on the rockets. My buddies and I are able to get a little over a third of his health consistently as long as we don’t blow ourselves up

we literally cant get to 2nd damage phase cause he just does the wipe mechanic, were not being slow. not getting stuck on things but he just wipes too fast
I’ll break it down for you: At the base level, the planet encounter is just a big matching game. Before you start the encounter, you’ll notice that there’s one “light” and one “dark” planet, each with their respective sides. During the ad waves, each side is going to spawn an orange-bar centurion on the center island. Killing these centurions will spawn colossuses on their corresponding side’s platforms. The colossuses will grant you a buff when you kill them that lets you see the affinity of each planet on your side. Each platform on the “dark” side of the arena will have one mismatched light planet, and vice versa for the light side. Your goal at this point is to move the planets so that all the dark planets are on the dark side, and all the light planets are on the light side. In order to do this, the people that killed a colossus need to interact with their mismatched planet, and then cross the arena and interact with the *other* side’s mismatched planet. Once you’ve done this, the planets will move to their corresponding side, and you’ll see a message in chat pop up saying “the indexed planets reveal themselves”. The “indexed planets” are the three in the center of the arena. It is now your job to move a planet to one of the plates in the center. Kill another wave of colossuses. You’ll then be able to see which of the center planets are “light” and “dark”. You need to move matching planets from each side to all 3 of them. This will then start a DPS phase. During the phase, the boss will glow either light or dark. You have to stand under the corresponding color to deal damage to the boss. He’ll switch his aura twice throughout the damage phase, so you need to be on the move to continue damaging him. Hope this helps! I’ll respond to any follow up questions if you have any.
A couple expansions on what USO said: 1. Make sure the side you got the colossus buff from corresponds to the planets/plates you’re dunking the buff at (left side is light, right is dark) 2. There’s a darkness crux in the center that needs to be shot after all the planets are aligned to start damage. 3. When the boss ends a damage plate, he calls down a bomb that destroys a plate. Usually this is the one you’re on, and you just rotate like normal, but sometimes it isn’t. If it’s one that you haven’t used yet, you’ll be able to rotate back to the plate you were just on once you’ve used the next one
If you had a minute to do the 1st sequence in contest my team had some bugs...we timed it an had like 30 seconds before we got wiped and both runners were literally there shooting last plate and we would wipe. Burst glide iccy dash didn't feel fast enough.
destroying his crit spots will stop him from using his hatred move, which is basically infinite psion grenade boops until you die. I believe it also stops his wipe mechanic as well
The person that has hatred debuff (by shooting his chest crit) will also get focused by nezarec so everyone else can just focus on ad clear and plates. My team finished the raid but i honestly still dont know what shoulder crits do. edit: they open his chest crit.
Yes, when you shoot his shoulders he’ll release a blast of either darkness (orange) or light. If he releases darkness, someone has to take the field of darkness buff and shoot a light node (go for the first plate after starter plate usually). If he releases light, you have to do the opposite. Once you’ve shot the node, that plate provides a buff that protects you from the wipe. Either stay on the plate with a bubble or have people refresh on the plate so they don’t lose the buff. My team has found success rushing the first damage phase, ignoring the wipe mechanics entirely, but after that we make sure to do them
