Mikey is the best crochet instruction of all on youtube. Seriously. Everything I need to know about a pattern, the way he shows each and every stitch (doesn't just say "next stitch" but shows you the intricacies of every stitch). The rest fail compared to Mickey's tutorials. Even the position of his hands, the camera, etc., give you details others do not. And when done a row, presents the row for you to take a good look at it. I see other's present a gorgeous pattern, but keep it hidden under their hands as they work. So, Mickey, great job!
I love your honesty that this pattern vexed you. Everyone struggles with a pattern now and again. With humor and stubbornness you made it through ❤ well done.
I just love all your tutorials, I can’t keep up 😩I want to make everything you show 👏so beautiful 😊thank you for such clear and precise instructions 👍🏼your a great teacher ❤️
Love you laugh makes me laugh too. I saw this shawl on your Crochet Crowd Facebook. Just had to see your video because boy you’re right! It’s a bit challenging for sure! Have a great day❤️
Thank you so much for the video, I was trying to use the pattern and got confused. I'm almost done with this shawl, it was a trip and a half if I'm honest, but again thanks for the visuals they helped out a lot
I am working on this right now with the Caron skinny cakes in the color lime twist! Such a pretty color! I am currently at the decrease and determined to finish this! Where can I post my result photos when I’m done?? Or what tags should I use when posting? Thanks!! Along with fiber spider you are a great teacher.
Every time you giggle, you set me off giggling. All giggling aside, I love when you review the pattern with a chart. It's like learning a new language (learning to read a chart). I don't do it often enough to trust myself with it, yet. But as I follow along as you explain, I at least understand for the duration of the video.
I don't know if you'll see this or if you can help, but although I found your tutorial very helpful, when I came back to check out the decreasing section (after getting to the 30" treble lines), I realized, SOMEHOW that the side to the *right* of the trebles is the longer side, not the side to the left, as it seems to be with yours. I've looked at the pattern and rewatched several times, but I've been doing the same sequence of HDCs, DCs and trebles, and... yet here I am. I do notice that the beginning is a little wonky, as if it started growing faster on the left and then changed its mind (?!??!). Any idea what I might have done? Beginning crocheter, long-time knitter. Thanks!
I’ve done this twice now and the smaller side both times stops increasing when I start repeating 8&9, any ideas what one doing wrong? I’m determined to figure this out. Lol
on the smaller side when you get to the last two, it's two half double in the one before last, half double and a double in the last one it feels off because you have more increases on the other side making it more obvious
Patricia Powell yeah I expect it will be too hard for many people. I still filmed it on the off chance someone wanted to try it. I’m working on the green sample now watching Netflix.

You are correct, this pattern isn't easy. More like advance.
OMG, LOL that is not easy.....I guess it's just confusing.... But I might give it a try.
Too complicated for me.

Eres muy complicado para explicar y para hacer las cosas
