@@adolforodriguez5261 Look at a few more vids and you'll see what I mean. You can damage your auto locking hubs when removing without pulling a vacuum.
its not engaged without pressure its fine. As long as you get the teeth lined up it works. But the abs line could of been desconnected! it was pretty shreched
U can sure destroy em. Take it from me. I literally drove myself crazy by attempting this without taking the axle loose and a brake removal… don’t try it. U can remove the factory strut but with a extra 2 inches it will not go back. Lol
Any puck lift more than a 2" will throw the steering geometry off, don't do it. Also you should disconnect the battery before banging on the front suspension when installing the puck, you can ruin your electronic components. Look it up.
Hey so is it fine with no new upper control arms I’m getting a 3” leveling kit installed this week with 35s on stocks and I only have the pucks I didn’t buy aftermarket control arms think I’ll be good ?
I put the 3" lift kit on my truck and the ride was like braking and I had to take it off and put the 2" one on. Can you tell me what the ride is like with your truck?
You have to take the strut out and flip it I just did a leveling kit on my f150 and I watched this same video and they wouldn’t line up so I took the bolt out of the strut and took the strut out and spun it and put it back in and it lined up
Thanks Aaron, saved me a trip to the store for a 30mm socket!
Good job man been there and done that a few times to different trucks and it’s not fun but the outcome is always worth it
Damn what a man will do for an extra inch and a half...
At least install new strut shocks , replace the torn CV boot
That’s what she said
Kickass video, appreciate you brother, thx for the education!
is that upper control arm angle not an issue?
Good job other than you should use a vacuum pump to disengage before pulling the locking hubs apart.
Why is that? I just got a 2010 & I'm trying to do a leveling kit as well, just looking for videos to see which will make the job easier

@@neilschultz8975 My understanding is the opposite. It disengages with vacuum. I'll have to revisit the repair manual.
@@neilschultz8975 A vacuum definitely needs to be pulled. It stays engaged.
So nobody’s noticing the brake lines tighter than hell😂

Dude great video

When you installed the 3” puck was the upper control arm rubbing the struts? And if it is does it settle back to a appropriate driving height
Would those work for installing a lift? I got a 3 inch lift I want installed
Hey Aaron! I sent in some pictures of my truck for your next rate and roast. Any idea on when the next one will be?
Hey so is it fine with no new upper control arms I’m getting a 3” leveling kit installed this week with 35s on stocks and I only have the pucks I didn’t buy aftermarket control arms think I’ll be good ?
Thanks a lot!

You need control arms that are compatible with the level. Usually when you got 2.5+ you’ll need it
How the ride with a 3" kit?
How not to remove your strut!
why?
Great content
I have 33” but I don’t know if I need to lift my truck
Do you have to put control arms when installing a 3 inch front only?
Noo you don’t have to buy once a level kit over 2 inches it’ll wear down your control arms a little bit. It’s not need though.
Great video I’m not offended that you cursed on the video I’m offended that you have a trump flag on the wall. Jk keep it up broda
Didn't need control arms? I did the same thing on my and tires had terrible positive camber
You need control arms for a lift bigger than 2 inches
it definitely should have bigger control arms
does this effect reliability or gas mileage??? somebody plz answer lol
Reliability in what aspect? And yes mpgs go down if you put bigger tires on
Trump!! hell yeah!
I’d pay you to put mine on for real I got 33x12.50s and I scrub a little bit, it’s either I reverse level or lift the front.
U have a 4 wheel drive?
@@jeffbezzos9038 yes my bad on the late response
Any wheels spacers
When I saw the hammer come out I said fluck that....
Trump 2024 !!
Kind of hard to pick between imbecile Trump or old man Biden.
Would be nice if you didn't gloss over the fact that you need to rotate the strut to line up the top mounting bolts. This video is deceiving
I had to come here
What kit was that?
First !
What level is it
How did you align the new spring bolts since the pattern flipped when you added the level
You have to take the strut out and flip it I just did a leveling kit on my f150 and I watched this same video and they wouldn’t line up so I took the bolt out of the strut and took the strut out and spun it and put it back in and it lined up
He already had a level installed so the struts were already lined up
Ughhh, that would have made this so much easier.
What sizes are the big nut and bolt from the bottom of the strut?
@@brianhill5852 27mm and 30mm
What size tires ?
35
Looks like one of those stupid Carolina squats! No thanks!
Was watching until Trump 💩
Sorry they/them
more then half the country agree with that flag !
worst ever
Didn’t like the video seen better
Womp womp
Be ready to replace cv axels every 2 weeks the 3 inch lift is garbage
Thanks!
Thank you! That’s greatly appreciated!
