Saw the Stray Cats in West Palm Beach about 1985 or so. Awesome concert in a club with about 800 people. Six rows from the stage. One of the best concerts ever. Life is better with Brian Setzer in it!
I saw them at a side gig in a Pub in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1994, totally blew everyone away! Never has anyone rocked so hard as those guys did in a little pub! Opened for Jimmy Barnes, played the gig I saw, then Brian played in Jimmy's band!

IMPRESIONANTE MI BRIAN! NO HAY MANERA DE HACERLO CALLAR NI BAJO EL AGUA....CUANTAS VIDAS TIENE ESTE GATO? . UN ABRAZO BRIAN
BRIAN SETZER arrête le pilotage automatique, retrouve l'inspiration avec sa nouvelle composition et balance plein de supers sons de guitare partout. Sans le savoir, il fait un mix des sons de guitares de PHILIPPE ALMOSNINO, VINCENT PALMER et VIKTOR HUGANET (absolument) sur ce rock et roll endiablé, ultracarré, avec la batterie bien solide de chez solide.
Visiblement, pas de contrebasse tu zippes et tu zappes (sauf erreur), tant mieux. En tout cas, ça sonne comme un son de basse électrique bien bourdonnant. Tout ça est joué et chanté pieds au plancher, c'est d'enfer, rafraîchissant, ça kille de chez kille. Et c'est même mieux que les titres du prem's album des STRAY CATS.

Love the way you twang that thang Brain! I even liked the happy ending of this! Many a long Christmas time ago, there was a special of yours on the telly, and my Dad that normally hates rock, came down to see what was going on, muttering, 'hug, he doesn't hit many sour notes does he'? That was high praise from my Dad! I think it was just called 'The Brian Setzer Orchestra Special,' and it really got after it! Great rock tunes!

Just saw him last night in Madison! First time I've seen him in about 30 years and it was the best show I've seen in years! Any artist that's halfway professional can turn in a decent performance but this was above and beyond. When you can tell the guys truly WANT to be jamming, you can tell the difference. Nobody can really fake that.
