    Please do a video on doggie treats and food for Justin!!! I'm a pet owner and it will be nice to see what Japan has to offer for pets. I have seen videos that in Japan the pet products market brings Japan millions. Plus it will be nice for Justin to have a video cater to him.

    I love small sandwiches. My mother started this tradition with me as a child. She would make finger sandwiches: cucumber w/cream cheese and pimento cheese sandwiches. With them we’d have iced tea, small snack items and fruit. Sometimes we’d have it outside, picnic style and if it was raining we’d picnic on our living room floor. I continued this tradition with my son and I still have these “tea parties” with my mom as well. A couple years ago; on Mother’s Day, I took Mom to one of our favorite places....Cayuga Lake (upstate ny) and I packed a rather elaborate tea party picnic for the two of us. I love that after 40+ years her and I still share this special tradition. So...I absolutely adore the fact that Sinichi ❤️’s small sandwiches. Just one more thing to add to my growing list of “reasons Sinichi & Satoshi are my fav TH-camrs” list. ✌🏻💗😊

    Those sandwiches look delicious! 😋 I wish I could find them out here in California. It’s the white bread with no crust that make them look so yummy I think. I’ve never seen an egg salad sandwich look so delicious before. Japanese egg salad sandwiches just look so yummy. 🤗😋 I think Justin did much better sitting up on your lap and next to you. He’s going to whine of course even if he just ate he’s always going to want more food especially people food. My little pup does the same thing he’s a little piggy 🐕😍 when it comes to human food. My Dachshund, Monty, just turned 12 and all his bad habits seem to be getting worse. I chalk it up to the "grumpy old man" phenom, but they are very much creatures of habit. He used to just "boof" at the door when we'd get deliveries, but with Covid increasing our deliveries and his old age, we've been getting a lot more, and so whenever my husband orders food, he will watch the window and charge the door when he see's the person. We've started to take action in stopping this behavior, but old dogs do get set in their ways.

  • @brclyn
    @brclyn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    With the sandwich you heat up, try pan frying it on both sides. That will crisp up the outside and the "crunch" adds a nice texture. I like how your sandwiches all have the crust removed. Strawberries on a sandwich is interesting.

    Egg salad sandwich is probably most popular because of it's simplicity. I know that is why it is my favorite, though others do taste better overall.
    If these sandwiches are like the 7-Eleven sandwiches here in Texas, they are made daily, and that might explain why the lettuce is still crispy.

    Those box sandwiches remind me of sandwiches you'd find on an afternoon tea in the UK, which is usually a selection of different finger foods (easy to eat due to smaller size), afternoon tea really blew up here again in the UK a few years ago & is still a big thing. There's some really creative ones too. And yes I have to eat egg mayo with buttered bread too, it adds to the creaminess of the egg mayo & adds a touch of saltiness too.

    Justin's no dummy, he has his masters trained well. :P I like seeing Justin in the video. However if you want to make him stop, it will take some work probably pretending to be filming and retraining him to behave differently. Dogs like to be part of the pack but right now, he's getting pretty good mileage out of being a pest so is learning its a strategy that is worth repeating. Dogs...gotta love them for being so smart.

    • @AHylianWarrior
      @AHylianWarrior 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They also got to stop giving Justin bits of their food, especially while they're doing this. They're basically training him to be a pest cause when he whines enough he gets a bite of food

    • @VacFink
      @VacFink 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AHylianWarrior That would seem the case but its fine IMO if they do share but the key is to train the dog the behavior to earn the reward positively. Its work and I can understand that to get through the video it probably is the best solution for the moment but not long term. It can be very rewrarding to train a dog and get a good behavior and I'd bet fans of Justin would actually watch that. Maybe they should consider that... call it 'Bad Justin....Good dog" lol

    • @VacFink
      @VacFink 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @TabiEats I hope this doesn't read as a criticism Its fully intended as 100% sympathetic. I love seeing Justin in the videos and chimed in to respond to your distress and share my appreciation for the cunning of the animals we love. He's a sharp cookie and probably wouldn't be hard to turn around with the right effort. He's adjusting to pandemic life like all of us and - at least right now - making out like the lovable bandit he is.

      Many Chinese supermarkets have yakisoba sauce, and some non-specialist supermarkets too - pretty sure I saw it in my local Tesco. So it should be straightforward, I think. I’m plotting a vegan version for myself.

      Americans have spaghetti sandwiches. Not super popular but it’s a thing lol

    • @BlueHama
      @BlueHama 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I prefer yakisoba pan to the egg and ham sandwiches. Kinda wish they'd do something vegetarian. The teriyaki chicken sandwiches have gristle and are hard and the katsu sandwiches are thin and soggy. Yakisoba pan is little more filling and it has pickled ginger and the sauce is pretty good. The sandwiches are super thin. One slice is like half a slice of bread. You can get three loaves of bread in the store and some cheese for the price of one flimsy sandwich. The 711 oden was really good. We had it for dinner a lot when it went on sale but people didn't buy it when it wasn't on sale so there was a lot of waste and they quit selling it.
      Bout the only thing I like about Lawson is the pocari sweat. Almost everyone else sells aquarius which doesn't taste quite as good.
      They're having a hard time finding workers lately and managers were working crazy hours because the main office makes them stay open for 24 hours.
      I like niku man every once in awhile but we usually pick them up at the supermarket to save money.
      For westerners that drink I think the major draw would be the chu hai but again you can get that in the store for significantly cheaper.
      They've got these mustard fried squid chips i like but they're hard to find.
      Probably my favorite sandwich in Japan is the miso katsu sandwich at the komeda coffee chain. It's about the only really filling and satisfying food in the whole country and it's huge for a bargain price.

    I only like egg sandwiches the way my mother made them for me when I was a kid, she would take a boiled egg and use a fork to mash it up with salt and pepper on buttered white bread, I don't like mayo or veggies so it was perfect to me.

    Justin wants to give a review of the food too....lol...maybe give him some of his treats as you are filming, but not to many or maybe a chew stick. I think he wants to eat what you are eating.
