The 757 is an 80s bird. It came out the same time as the 737 classics. It missed 2 generations of upgrades. Boeing should never have scrapped the machines for building this bird. It’s a one of a kind.
Marvelous communication, wonderful energy between the two pilots and I just love how calm and courageous they are from moment to moment to fly the beautiful Boeing 757, thank you so much.
I like the "FUN" in morse code on the tower frequency.

I am afraid that that will definitely not happen. The middle of the market has been conquered by Airbus. Boeing will need to make a absolut new aircraft as the next only plausible step (Airbus as well). We believe that a new aircraft will be brought into the market around 2026.. maybe a little later now after corona. But is the only logical next step
@@cfg003 Hmm u might be right but the new ceo isn't interested in the nma so far...and said they'll be looking back to the 767s and 757s...and add composite wings and new engines, with new avionics and flight systems..I really dunno whats gonna happen but i want the 757 back :(

Strange, I posted a message but never shown up. Anyways, Beautiful walk around; the plane looks amazing. I also enjoy seeing the cockpit of the 757-300. Awesome pilots with an amazing takeoff that sounds amazing. I would so love to go here, it's beautiful. Amazing waters, beautiful terrain and landscape, amazing view of the city and the tiny islands, and beautiful skies. I do love the different camera views of the takeoff. From the outside plane spotting of it, the cockpit, and the cockpit's window; you really see so much. I love it, awesome video.

Bless the 757, such a great plane, every pilot loves them. I think Boeing should have looked into updating this plane rather than the 737 and maybe they wouldn't be in the situation that they are. It's not too late guys ????
757x, or 757 max would be sweet
The 757 would be the better option of both. Imagine a lighter composite fuselage, powerful, but more fuel efficient engines…
The 757 (at least the -200) is known for its power, short runway takoffs… it can be used everywhere.

I've watched many videos of the approach where the turbulence is serious right at the time you have to bank hard to land. I can only imagine what it's like.
You hit the tail hard enough you gonna have bigger problems than a light. We had to park one because it cracked the rear bulkhead.

Yes, it is possible, of course. Although you are able to fly IFR visually, with GPS, INS, IRS. The GPS is necessary for the navigation itself and not for the IFR.

no they didn't. LOT was supposed to take over but they dropped the offer due to the corona situation. Condor received some state support for now, future is still unclear I think.
