Loved that you didn't speed up the driving part so I could see the scenery. The park looks really nice (I also watched on Bob and Jenny's channel) and the pub food looked delicious. A very nice video thank you.
Hi Trev & Sue - Now that's a coincident just watching your video & what pops up on my picture app from 6 years ago - Us at Wagtail Country Park in Bessie the MH - access road doesn't look any better forgot how nice the site is, certainly lots of improvements have been done since our visit 6 years ago, thank you for showing us around 👍
It’s very nice at this park. Ask for a disabled pitch near the lake and facilities near where I stood on pitch 12. The site is pretty level and there’s nice views from your van there. The access road is a little narrow but you are used to it with your experience of CLs etc 👍🏻😃 Trev

What a beautiful site you picked. I haven’t watched Bob and Jenny’s vlog yet but did you walk to the pub or drive? That portion of fish and chips was very appealing and a very good excuse to visit. It’s just 30 minutes drive from us so could be a low cost trip with not much fuel used😂. Thanks for sharing your visit, regards Ruth
Good idea to keep it local. It’s surprising how a local weekend can really help to recharge and rest for a busy week ahead. We took the car to the pub but in good weather I think it’s walkable with a fair wind and not too many adult beverages 😉🤣 Trev
Thanks for this Trevor. This site is very close to two karting circuits. Very handy for us!! I wonder if it was karts you could hear and not dirt bikes? If it was a Wednesday evening and the weather was calm it could have been that.
We were amazed by Sheila and Joes new park home. It’s such a nice feeling to reduce the maintenance responsibilities and have a nice cosy space to live in. 😃 Trev
Lovely drive! Looks like a really pretty campground. Smurf is such a pretty vehicle. I really love the blue. I get so tired of white RV's. Browns seems to be the next most popular color. Interesting that there are homes there. Looks like a decent little lake. They are some pretty nice sized sites. And it's nice that you have some greenery at our site too. I really dislike the campgrounds here that are all concrete. Or mostly. I want grass and trees. OH man, ya just had to end with food, didn't you? LOL. That fish looks amazing! What was in the rectangular dishes with the tomato on top?

We didn’t find the access road too much of a problem despite some of the road surface needing attention with countless potholes. Pity, as the campsite can’t do anything about the public roads. There are a few passing spots and there’s very little traffic up and down the roads near the campsite as they are not the main roads through the villages. It was a nice winter location 😃 Trev
Looks a lovely site but the bad condition single track access road would put us off ! There didn't seem to be adequate passing places if you met a motorhome/tractor coming this other way, unless you wanted to incur some adventure stripes !!
It was quite narrow and the sides of the roads are not in good condition. There are a few passing places and the visibility is good, no high hedges or blind bends, so it wasn’t as scary as it looked. It’s a shame the roads are so full of potholes but it’s the local councils that are to blame not the campsite. I hope the campsite are pushing the council to improve the road surface locally. 🙂 Trev
So pleased you loved Wagtails. This was the first site we took Harry the Hymer to when we got him, as it’s only about 25 minutes away from us. Did you find the other part of the site around the second lake? The dog walk carries on all around that section as well. One of the nicest on-site dog walks we’ve found. Best wishes, Suzie & Alan 😊
Hi Suzie and Alan, yes I did the entire walk with the pups early one morning and it was fabulous. The second lake has park homes all round it now so I didn’t film there to protect their privacy and just filmed the touring park area. We could have spent a lot longer there as it felt very comfortable and we had a nice dry week 😃🚐 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping that makes sense. When we were there, there were touring pitches around one side of the lake and they were building some new park homes around the other side. 😊
