Personally I feel lego has remade too many sets and entice buyers by slightly updating the figures. They should just keep some sets on shelves forever. How many millennium falcons, quinjets, landspeeders do we need. Which is why I like bandai gundam and how they avoid redoing kits. Saves a ton of money and space.
The minute I saw Barad Dûr I knew I wanted it. And I loved it. It’s beautiful. When it came to Rivendell, it really didn’t tickle my fancy. But while building Nara’s Dur I kept watching reviews and hearing how it’s best set ever and the best build and a must have. When I finished Barad I went aheand and bought Rivendell and as I’m building it I really regret buying. The build isn’t that fun to me and i don’t have much space and I usually carefully pick the sets I want and I get them also according to where I’ll place them in my house. To add insult to injury. I was charged accidentally 3 times with my card. I really regret getting it
To be honest I grew to love it. Quite a lot. And now it’s the centerpiece of my Lego collection. Seeing it come together changed my perspective on it and it’s under my window now and I feel like it marries well with the outside. I love the trees and the gazebo. It’s very beautiful. I still still think the base of the gazebo (the second part of the build) was a pain but overall it was worth it. I went ahead and bought the gringotts bank and it’s this one i regret buying now lol
lol, I have the exact same situation with the Death Star Final Duel. Personally, I think both are really good but the newer one is way better for space and display. Although, I’m happy with the og 2020 one.
ikr! Like it's different enough from the diorama one where I feel like it's worth keeping but the sets are still so similar that it's hard to display them both when you have limited space
@@theskyguystudios yeah. I’ve heavily considered getting the diorama but I just don’t have space for it. I’m saving room for when they inevitably release a duel on mustafar diorama next year. (Hopefully)
Same. I really like it for the minifigure selection and it's a uniquely designed ship. I think why I maybe don't regret it as much is because I've got the bounty hunter gunship from clone wars and think it fits in really well alongside that. Just having the justifier on its own is kind of hard to fit into a LEGO display so I feel ya. Also way too overpriced of a set.

Newsflash, you don't need to buy the new versions

That sucks. I think Rivendell is a great set I hope over time you grow to like it but I definitely see what you mean

I bought the lego justifier a while ago... i was super hyped for it... but as time goes by i actually think its a really boring set

@@theskyguystudios Yeah i agree man... god i wish i had that bounty hunter gunship
The whole wakanda line was sucha letdown
Yeah I really regret getting most of the sets from the wave lol
Every set that just doesn’t feel right in my collection or completely regret getting later on, i just sell em off through facebook groups.
See I would do that but I have such a hard time letting go of LEGO sets and minifigures so I like to hold on to them for some reason
@@theskyguystudios your way better then me lol
