    Great tutorial again! Is there any reason that you used "Stencil Alpha/Silhouette" instead of a Track Matte?

      Hey Alex, yes. Using the Stencil and Silhouette blending modes affect the alpha underneath the matte layer. So in a way I can "combine" alpha mattes for multiple layers . Of course, you can use track matte as well for this animation!

      I forgot to add that this allows me to parent each of matte layers to different layers, and that is the primary reason why I use this technique!
