The characters are jacked af in the earlier Seasons because that was suuuuuuper popular in the '80s. The '80s was a time when every other manga was about big muscular men fighting for justice (with a lot of yelling too). Jonathan's character is an homage to Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) (where the "NANI!?" meme comes from).
The popular piano op is from Giorno's (the mc of part 5) theme. Also, each parts have a different JoJo, which are descendants of the Joestar bloodline: 1: Jonathan Joestar 2: Joseph Joestar 3: Jotaro Kujo 4: Josuke Higashikata 5:Giorno Giovanna 6: Jolyne Cujoh

37:33 the 80s was a big shift. Talking about a 10 year period in entertainment is a lot. While dragon ball and dragon ball z (same thing manga wise) handle designs a bit differently, the 80s, and most series from the 80s were inspired by the bodybulding craze that we have seen grow in hollywood, with charaters like Schazzenegger, Silvester Stallone and the like, and that were phased out in the 90s, when Naruto, Bleach and One Piece came out, while also considering that these 3 latter animes have very different desing phisolophies. one thing that you might figure out as you experience the series, is that Araki is a big lover of both classic art, be it painting, sculpture and other forms of art. He was always drawn to western culture. I will leave it just at that and let you find out the rest by yourself.
My top 5 favorite shounens (and the reasons I like them): 1) Undead Unluck (worldbuilding and drama) 2) JOJO (epic battles and atmosphere) 3) One Piece (world changing story) 4) Hunter X Hunter (character development) 5) Bleach (philosophy of world and characters) And I am a manga reader.
Jojo as an anime is really one of the greatest adaptations that has ever been done. It's not a perfect one to one with the Manga, though they never change anything that matters. But what they change and add takes advantage of what anime can do that Manga can't, especially with sound and music. Its also great in that each story is so unique from the previous part, its constantly refreshing itself.
i remember giving jojo's a try a lot of years ago but dropped it bc the first episodes were so boring to me, then some years later i watched it with a friend of mine and started to like it, we stopped watching it mid part 3 and then i tried to watch the rest by myself and here we are, it became my fave anime lol. I will always recommend people to give it another try if they dropped it even if the first part might bore you, everyone starts loving it after part 2 or 3 so be patient and it will get good! Tho i have to say that after watching it a few times from part 1 i began to like part 1 as well, i used to say that it is slow and boring but it actually has a very fast pacing and a good freaking plot, but i can understand how people get overwhelmed by the fast pacing of the 9 first episodes, but they're SO good, love this masterpiece, i'll never regret giving it another try

My man you missed the different versions of several openings tho maybe you're better without them because they are spoilers about the part villain's power
Yeah I learned about this in retrospect and have the people who made this video for me to thank haha - I'd rather not be spoiled on it I dont think hey!
Personally I think Part 1 and Part 2 are significantly worse in the manga than in the anime. Manga is way slower paced, horrendously so (Part 1: 50 chapters vs 9 episodes), and in many ways it's also like an old video game, the quality of life features we're used to are not there. A lot of 80s manga fluff. One could argue the anime was rushed, but it's more like it made it more streamline and easier to get through. On the other hand I think Part 3 is way better in the manga, because the pacing is faster and the story is told with more finesse. Honestly the opposite of the first two parts.
@@LKTVLKTV Yeah, don't let this dissuade you. I still think the manga is good. And extremely unique from what you usually find around. Jojo is a weird franchise because mega fans can hate certain parts with an extreme passion, then live and breathe another.
Yeah for sure! Definitely not dissuaded but I have been for a long time because like you perfectly say - some hate some parts with a passion but gush over others so I’ve always been so confused about which way I want to go about it if ever. Appreciate the level headed-ness and kindness man! Looking forward to diving in 🥹
I used to be the same way about jojo. I refused to watch it because so many anime’s I tried that were hyped up ended up not being to my liking. When I finally watched jojo though, I got invested. The art, stories, humor, drama, music, and everything in general is top notch, and after watching it it’s easy to see it’s impact on culture to this day. Honestly, it’s worth a watch for anyone willing to try it.
I was one of those guy who judged it by art style cuz it completly different from other anime. One day i was asking friend if he iwatch anime and he told me his favorite is Jojo so i just gave it a chance. And im glad i did cuz i rly like it 😊
Jojo is awesomeeee❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥 I like reading the manga as well. You can’t base what you watch or read as thinking the whole series is the same because each part is so diffrent. One thing is that people see references to the newer parts and then watch part one and are like “what does this have to do with anything with what I saw?” Then they don’t watch it
It's weird which opening variants the video you used skipped and which they kept, but I'll have to finish watching to see if it really harms the big cool variants
if you look to it, there's a difference among these op. all op is in 2.5ish D(or its just CG), but the op for part 4 and 5 are just in our regular animation
I think it might not be a good choice to start from season 1 since the story was more traditional (boring) and in fact I quitted after 10minutes watching the first episode 🤣🤣 I personally like season 3 the best, this was where I start finding fun and being more emotionally related. I think many others start knowing jojo from the anime of season 3 too. No one could say no to Star Platinum!
@LKTVLKTV If you read the first part, will you try to watch it someday? I know u fell asleep when u first tried jojo (if Im not mistaken), but maybe next time u be full involved in this bizzare adventure. It was the same thing for me, 5 minutes I got bored, but few month later I give it a chance and its one of the best animes I've ever seen.
Yesss to the Jojo manga. As much as I respect the anime adaptation, the manga form is absolutely incredible and I prefer it to the anime. It would be fun to see your opinion as a person who hasn't watched the show
Okay so first off welcome to JoJo’s. I like going around and making stands for people just because I like inventing cool concepts. I could do one for you and it’s free
JoJo starts off fairly slow, I would say Part 1 is easily the weakest part of JoJo by far and while many jojo fans would say it's still good, I personally disagree heavily. Part 2 (which starts with episode 10) is where it starts getting good imo, and Part 3 is where it finds a unique and key concept that will be prevalent and important throughout the all the rest of the parts of JoJo. I would say you should at least finish Part 3 before you give your judgement on JoJo as a whole. Edit: if that sounds way too overwhelming or too long of an investment of time, then just get to Part 2 (which starts at episode 10), I think right from the start of Part 2, you'll get what I mean, I don't want to spoil too much by telling you why that is the case but you'll figure it out yourself once you get there.
It was a conscious decision in order not to ‘spoil’ and honestly I respect it haha. Either way this was just meant for me to go a little further than toe deep and get the ball rolling and I’m grateful that this video served its purpose for me regardless haha

10:35 - Persona was inspired by JoJo.
Nice reaction! I might show up if you're going to stream your reaction to part 3.
It is hard to get past part 1 of jojo, but later parts are amazing. Jojo anime is peak.
Keen to check more of it out that’s for sure man!
It's not hard stop lying
@@yes.3813 For casual viewers that needs to choose shows wisely it's very easy to stop watching part 1
@@yes.3813It is for a lot of people. This isn't to discourage them to skip/rush Part 1, but to stick out till Part 2 because some people literally stop at Part 1, which is stupid but that's more of the reason why this reminder should be here.
@@yes.3813 When so much better anime exist it is. Part 1 is not bad, but in my opinion it is very mediocre, and with so many other shows it is easy to drop it. But it’s worth it, part two immediately is much more interesting.
Dropping Jojo halfway through the first episode is insane. Bro quit before any of the bizarreness even happened lol
“If there’s like mild gore in it, I’m down.”
Doppio’s razor blade incident-
37:33 the 80s was a big shift.
"If theres like, mild gore in this im here, im ready" hahahaha yeah.. mild...
My top 5 favorite shounens (and the reasons I like them):
1) Undead Unluck (worldbuilding and drama)
2) JOJO (epic battles and atmosphere)
3) One Piece (world changing story)
4) Hunter X Hunter (character development)
5) Bleach (philosophy of world and characters)
And I am a manga reader.
Undead Unluck worldbuilding is insane for a planet centric world, and I love it
34:22 ironic that pucci was on screen as he said that
Jojo as an anime is really one of the greatest adaptations that has ever been done.
Tho i have to say that after watching it a few times from part 1 i began to like part 1 as well, i used to say that it is slow and boring but it actually has a very fast pacing and a good freaking plot, but i can understand how people get overwhelmed by the fast pacing of the 9 first episodes, but they're SO good, love this masterpiece, i'll never regret giving it another try
bro has the EXACT reaction that I'd expect from someone who will become one of us lol
ok holy shit it goes even further, almost everything he says is accurate to an extent and he totally understands why everybody loves it just from the intros. Pretty rare in reactors bro
Jojo is goated for inspiring 80% of anime dawg 😭🙏. Persona included.
A classic I recommend watching is Yu Yu Hakusho. It recently got a live action adaptation. And, it's a rare example where the dub is spectacular.
Rare is crazy to say
Nice to know! I’m keen to see what the manga is going be like regardless but can’t wait to come back and let you guys know what I thought!
Looking forward to diving in 🥹
I haven’t read the manga, but part 1 definitely felt rushed as an anime. It felt like a how to tell a story speedrun.
I usually watch your kpop reactions I had no idea you had also made reactions for jojo, that’s my favorite anime so it makes me glad you did!!
The first person I've seen who didn't immediately think Caesar was Dio!
8:40 he nailed it
I was one of those guy who judged it by art style cuz it completly different from other anime. One day i was asking friend if he iwatch anime and he told me his favorite is Jojo so i just gave it a chance. And im glad i did cuz i rly like it 😊
kinda ironic that the art makes you get into the show, most ppl get turned off by the art and completely js ignore the show
Yeah the art is really important to me haha
25:49 Ok...who is the dude with the green hair...daaaamn!😮
Yep, pretty much everyones reaction when first watching Part 4, best boy right there✒️✒️
Wait! He didn't see End of the World ver2? Nnaaaah
jojo inspired persona, demonslayer and streetfighter to name a few things it has inspired
8:02 you feeling that 😎😎😎😎👌👌👌🫸
GGs buying the manga!
Superior to the anime in like every way.
Jojo is awesomeeee❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
I like reading the manga as well.
You can’t base what you watch or read as thinking the whole series is the same because each part is so diffrent.
One thing is that people see references to the newer parts and then watch part one and are like “what does this have to do with anything with what I saw?”
Then they don’t watch it
It's weird which opening variants the video you used skipped and which they kept, but I'll have to finish watching to see if it really harms the big cool variants
As a wise man once said, watching jojos bizzarw adventure part 1 and not the rest is like eating the peels of an orange and throwing the rest away
Literally slept on it
Persona was actually inspired by JoJo
8:40 neurons activated😁😁
Those variants are amazing too , I Hope u react to them Soon.
if you look to it, there's a difference among these op. all op is in 2.5ish D(or its just CG), but the op for part 4 and 5 are just in our regular animation
I think it might not be a good choice to start from season 1 since the story was more traditional (boring) and in fact I quitted after 10minutes watching the first episode 🤣🤣
I personally like season 3 the best, this was where I start finding fun and being more emotionally related.
I think many others start knowing jojo from the anime of season 3 too. No one could say no to Star Platinum!
I actually read all of Part 1 recently and got hooked lmao
@LKTVLKTV If you read the first part, will you try to watch it someday? I know u fell asleep when u first tried jojo (if Im not mistaken), but maybe next time u be full involved in this bizzare adventure. It was the same thing for me, 5 minutes I got bored, but few month later I give it a chance and its one of the best animes I've ever seen.
Yesss to the Jojo manga. As much as I respect the anime adaptation, the manga form is absolutely incredible and I prefer it to the anime. It would be fun to see your opinion as a person who hasn't watched the show
I would like you to see the opening of another version of part 3 as well.
8:38 its their teacher
Okay so first off welcome to JoJo’s. I like going around and making stands for people just because I like inventing cool concepts. I could do one for you and it’s free
You gotta react to the alternative versions. We love when someone who doesn’t know squat reacts to those.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 never thought I'd see the day hahaha
Also " ROADROLLER DAAA!!!!!"
24:37 Hitting the nail right on the head eh?
I am a simple man, I see someone skipping different versions - I just [KING CRIMSON]
Didn't intentionally skip ahaha - I didn't know they exist
@@LKTVLKTV I thought chat and discord are exactly for that purpeses, what happened to people who recommend you this?
It was a conscious decision in order not to ‘spoil’ and honestly I respect it haha. Either way this was just meant for me to go a little further than toe deep and get the ball rolling and I’m grateful that this video served its purpose for me regardless haha
Persona got the idea for its powers from jojo and street fight took their art style from jojo as well
I miss the main thing with the Jojo openings reaction, the amazement at the alternate versions
You should react to the endings, out of context videos, and maybe the alternate openings before you have the context for why the changes happen.
I am all in for anime reactions
Yeah, basically the Stands are like Persona, in the fact that they're summons. But... if the stands receive damage, the user takes the same damage.
Your JoJo opening reactions are on point! 🎉 The creativity and uniqueness of each opening never cease to amaze me, and watching you experience them for the first time adds a whole new layer of excitement. The way you break down the visuals and connect them to the story is pure gold. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure truly knows how to set the tone with its openings. Can't wait for your reactions to the later parts - the craziness just keeps getting better! Like, comment, and subscribed for more epic JoJo journeys! 🌈 #JoJoOpenings #StandTunes
Why the rainbow 😭
"Is this Persona?" Yeah basically lol
Im so bummed out i missed this live 💀
i dont understand why youtubers put that little thing on the video that makes it so we cant record the openings, it's accesable on youtube and pirating.
and there were like five variants of the intros that you haven't seen, so I hope you see when watching the anime
Bro really didn’t watch the variants 😢
he didn't want to jump into it and then buyed all the first part manga in hardcover? ok, then, danm
Only one way to find out, right? Plus the hardcovers look so sick 🥹
Man i'm big fan from Saudi Arabia ❤
You skiped so many versions...
Pinned commentttt 📌📌📌
Ngl jojos might just be the most random show in history
24:37 You are so right how did you know 😅
Bro he bought all the books as someone who hated it while I've been a fan for years and didn't want to buy them cause there's so many
11:47 ok.. tell me that wasn't a coincidence
there are many jojos at the same time. at first we got jonathan than joseph than jotaro and i dont know the rest bcs im still on the 4th opening.
To watch an anime like JOJO is literally to just turn your brain off the Bizzar means just what it is it's an anime that subverts expectations one minute you'll go into it thinking wtf am I watching bro to end up being fully immersed as each part goes on
As a big JJBA fan i think you should get into it. HOWEVER i think its time for the next Persona 5 part :) (just joking, upload it when its ready^^)
How is he so good at guessing
ah sheeeet lets goooo
Lets gooooo0oo man
Jojo is the type of franchise that keeps getting better with newer parts . My fav.jojo part is stone ocean final season ( part 6 ) in terms of anime. I rec you check out Fanmade Jojo part 7 and 8 OPs , they're super popular with Millions of views.
You're so right jotaro is a god
