It does not share frames with the Tat 100. Retail in the US will be $199.99. It was revealed at the Osaka show in Japan. The US models will have gear ratios from 5 to 8 while the JDM version will only come in 7 or 8 gear. It is an amazing reel!
Cody target casts with swimbaits lol thats why he didnt bomb a cast and the cast was shorter. Probably fishing over a grass clump or under water laydown.
this reel test dude only thinks the casting distance counts for a reel to make it a good reel - that's always bothered me about the reviews here on this channel
@pasqualec.3368 distance is great of you're bombing lures out lol like a jerkbait or a crank but target fishing and accuracy is more important as thats what 85% of fishing is especially bass and freshwater game fishing. I bet just like all the other tatulas it will bomb a lure a heavy deep crank, thats what its designed for. He also forgets gopro angles can make a cast look shorter or longer depends on the angle and how the camera is setup lol. Even high end cameras are the same.
On the Topic of Magforce, dynamic braking such as Mag V and Z or SV doesn't fit on a deep spool as you need the area inside the spool for the inductor to recess into. So a deep spool is only ever going to be standard magforce
Hi THE REEL TEST , do you happen to know whats the K stand for in Shimano reels. For example is the mgl 150 the same as mgl K 150 ? or should the K verision be avoided ?
The single letter usually refers to the generation of the model. K was the previous generation while the current on is M. The next one will most likely be some next alphabet after M. K series of Curado is a really good one, no need to avoid them.
I have a real problem having over 20 reels. Have the 100 and man does that thing cast. I’m thinking about getting the 200 or the 300 for bigger bates. Or the Scorpion 300 . Love this real to just haven’t made my mind up yet.
How can you possibly determine the actual casting distance without knowing whether the person was intentionally casting for distance or aiming for a specific target? It’s almost laughable to make that judgment without understanding the angler’s intent.
what's the big deal years ago when the tatula was first introduced I had a tatula 200. even have a video on TH-cam all about it. so what's the big deal? I know this must be an easy video for you to do.

@@blind_eye_fishingAccuracy comes down to the rod. Any reel can cast short distances.
I just bought an ABU GARCIA Ambassadeur 5501 for the bigger baits
I'm not sure why anyone thinks it's a contraversial frame.... The new design is amazingly ergonomic an comfortable in hand.

New generation Tatula might look ugly but they palm hella comfortable. The new SV 100 Boost is very good mid range reel I would recommend.

Probably do the BIG reveal at The Classic. I saw it at the Farris Brothers Dealer Show.
I thought about it for a possible Carolina Rig setup 🍺🎣
I hope they bring back the Pluton or the ryoga.

I dont know if its just me or the top part of the new tatula looks like a CAMEL TOE?
Soooo big price jump for more line yet downgraded brakes?? Sounds right for daiwa😂
Most bait casters hold to much line
The reality is that the hyperdrive is shit compared to MGL.
😂😂😂 bro ,drink some whiskey and relax
Ugly ass looking reel. They also gotta ditch the ugly spider logo
They literally renoved the spider from the frame and did only the Tatula lettering!
