Nice update Joe. A word on those Sawyer filters: the seam welded bladder can split, especially when the filter itself starts to block up from use and you have to squeeze harder. Grab yourself a crunchy PET plastic water bottle with a screw cap from one of the Dairy/magazines and it should screw onto the filter. They are much tougher.
great to see team jofus outnabout. magic shakedown ride topped off by brilliant footage of rufus owning his decisions!! classic moment. good luck fellas from takaka.
I really enjoy these, so cool to see where you get to go. I forgot how much fun that used to be when I was riding and travelling. I'll just watch from my couch now in Lyttelton :)
Rider from Kyrgyzstan here !Man I was following you both for a long time now, happy to see you guys ! That storm over Shamshy pass was something 😂😅 see you soon !
Feel like it'd almost be worth building a rack to hold a spare front wheel with a fat trail or enduro tire to swap in for the descents. Extra 2kkg for rack and wheel would be worth IMO
hi Joe, in the video the very brief glimps of your bike suggest you are using a drop bar. What's your bike setup and why the switch from flat to drop bars?
Rufus must be the only ginger alive that hasn't figured out sunscreen yet.
Super hyped up for your race video after watching this relaxing bike tour.
