Mate, help please! I have multiple different light units and they all have Master/slave option, but can they work together in sound active mode, regardless to different efect they produce? Do they synchronize in master/slave mode?
great video is there away to run one light in dmx and the rest slave? i have a colorstrip mini and wanna make them make runway effect is that only posable in the preset auto modes? or can u run one in dmx telling the rest what to do.
ok so I have the same set up. I want to be able to hold all of them to 1 color during the dinner/reception. and then have them do all colors during the dance. I have the remote control too. can you help me with this? Thank you

Is it possible or a good/bad idea to use master/slave with different type fixtures? Hummm? I’m going to try this in a little while to see what happens? I want to see what happens when I set my pixel light bar to sound active master and my other fixtures like par cans and spider lights to slave. Should be interesting but I just thought I’d ask just in case somebody knows?
you forgot to add if they have I.r. sensors shut them off but only on for master light so if you're running a remote it doesn't mess with all just master
Daniel Alt you've hit the nail on the head. Technically, by setting each light to dmx channel 1, they're all just responding to the same command from the controller...

If the lights are different brands do you hook them up

Can you do a simple strobe sync with DMX? Can I send a simple dc pulse like the old strobe lights with the 1/4” phono plugs?

If you just want to have control over all your fixture at one and have them so the same thing just set all the DMX addresses the same

Why not just put all same channel. What is difference with all channel 1 and do same as channel 1 does, and with slave thing that follows?
