I'm using this during quarantine to learn. Also need to say this kata is beautiful.

The hand grab move after the first move is a hidden isometric exercise beyond a wrist grab break and elbow. There are also hidden internal power exercises related to the same techniques in sanchin kata like ki compressing breathing into the lower abdomen.

Beautiful kata performance. Bunkai is not great. The uke is attacking with "karate" techniques every time.

Right? If the bunkai is against oi zuki, it's not the correct bunkai. Karate was developed as self defense against untrained attackers. No one us going to attack you with an oi zuki in a real fight.

@Long Johnson They created techniques for regular attacks one is likely to encounter in a street fight, which are universal- haymakers, straight punches, grabs, tackles, headbutts, etc. No one- not even karate people are gonna attack you in the street with an oi zuki.

@Long Johnson Untrained humans fight pretty much the same way everywhere, dude. Even that "oi zuki" is more of a cross with a step through afterwards. Real bunkai isn't for oi zuki. Get off it already. 🙄

Este video y el de Tatsuya Furukawa son buenos pero este siendo el mas antiguo es un poco mejor que el de Furukawa.
