The head strap is a no go, can cause internal decapitation and other injuries. Good in theory, I appreciate the idea behind those but not safe. The only safe car seat accessories are the ones sold with the car seat (same brand / approved for specific model etc.)
Yes, most after market car seat products are not safe. Head-to-shoulders is fine, but head-to-chin is not okay. Also, we should keep the child rear-facing as long as the car seat limit allows. Switching a child to forward-facing prematurely could be deadly in case of an accident.
@@aali9778 That is what I was thinking. It could be easy for a child to be choked by it. Could you imagine if all of a sudden the car slammed on it’s brakes(or crashed suddenly), and it slips down, choking the child? Or as someone mentioned, a more gruesome and horrific injury.
The head strap for the car seat is *extremely* unsafe and can cause strangulation or serious injury in the event of an accident. Only accessories sold by the car seat manufacturer are crash tested and therefore considered safe! Please, please don’t encourage people to buy something that could put their children at risk!
Came to comment this exact thing! It can cause internal decapitation in the event the car were to suddenly or harsly come to a stop!! Babies are flexible, much more than adults, they look uncomfy asleep in their car seat with their head to the side but are perfectly comfy and fine!!
Suffocation also. A woman had a car accident and it fell down over the babies moth and nose and it suffocated. I remembered reading it because the Aunt wrote about it because she was the one who bought it for them.
Please do not advertise the car seat head straps. I understand you likely didn't know but they are not safe! They can cause injury or death in a crash.
NO NO NO, NO HEAD STRAP!!!! It’s not approved by any safety company and if the child’s head is strapped the wrong way and you get into an accident it can cause internal decapitation of the spinal cord!!!!
I've seen dentists review that toothbrush type tool and it's not recommended as it doesn't do a good job cleaning. They recommend a normal toddler brush like you were using. Plus it looked too big for his mouth and that he was uncomfortable.
I’m gobsmacked that head rest thing is even allowed to be sold, it’s absolutely an accident waiting to happen, what would be a better option is one of those airline half moon pillows that you put behind your neck when on long flights but put it at the front of the child, it’s soft and not restricted and gives just a little support to their neck when they fall asleep in the vehicle But kids will adjust themselves when this happens either by waking up or moving their heads back into position, personally I wouldn’t be bothered with anything, kids have been falling asleep in vehicles for years without any gadgets and survived the journey…!!!!!
@@kimcriswell3484 My Gosh, how did We manage to bring up Our children without all these gadgets Lol 😂 and I don’t know about your children But mine turned out just fine, instead of gadgets in the vehicle, we’d play pick a word from a letter of the alphabet or the first one to see a Red car, things like that to amuse our children on long trips….so many things to do using their imagination and Brain 🧠….😊
We actually have the toilet seat in pink for our granddaughter. We love it and she uses it when she comes over. There are two flaps in the front that open up and kind of locks the seat so it won't move around. Easy to clean and very practical.
My Daughter is turning 15, it's always so amazing to me what baby gear is out now in 2022. I'm actually thinking of having another baby ...so awesome to see what will be helpful w a new baby. ❤️🤗
DO NOT use a head strap!!! So dangerous, risk of internal decapitation. Please just tighten straps properly and your child’s head will be fine. Do not add an aftermarket product to a seat that is not designed or tested for safety!!
If your using your car seat properly you wont have head flop, make sure straps are at or just above shoulders, and car seat is installed properly, and in correct recline, make sure straps are as close to neck as possible. That should stop head flop
I have that same tablet for my 2yr old son and it has helped us alot with learning numbers and letters he's 2 and can count to 20 and knows his ABC I think it's a great product if u take the time to play with them with it it's good for the car to but I think it's great for learning it's a good teaching tool
I like the idea of the portable potty cup in case of emergencies, but it didn't need to have the eyes on it. This to me is a bit strange. Perception matters especially to the young.
I have a light that is more like the Aurora borealis. It is super calming, has a 2 hour timer, plays music and has Bluetooth so the lights dance to the beat and you can also change between diff modes, adjust the colors, as well as the brightness
With the toothbrush- I have the same one for my little one. Theres a way to record a song/music of your choice on it. So it plays while your lil one brushes. You also have to have your little one twist it side to side for it to brush. 😃 Hope that helps :)
I love watching your videos, even thro I dont have toddlers around anymore. The new ideas are amazing. Yep and some not so much like the head strap. But IF that head strap idea for bouncing head thing could be reinvented safely, the need for all kids of all ages even my 10 yr old grandson when he falls asleep in the car. I've always wished for something like that. Thanks for sharing these updated items. You guys have the best videos.
Head strap on the car seat can cause internal decapitation and is extremely unsafe. Anything that didn't come with your car seats should never be used.
I’m with Em on that toothbrush…No. Paper seat covers don’t keep out viruses or bacteria. I carry disinfectant wipes for public bathrooms. I’d rather sit on wet Lysol than someone else’s urine or infected privates. LOL
No! That head strap is extremely dangerous and can internally decapitate a child. The AAP came out almost 2 years ago saying how dangerous this is. PLEASE stop using it and recommending it.
Don’t ever use anything to keep babies head back in the car seat! If you get in an accident baby’s neck could snap if they’re thrust forward but head is restrained. THESE SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!!
Sorry this is definitely not a ‘must have’ video. 😣 Your videos are usually well thought out and fully researched not this time. You’re basing a must have on products you haven’t been using for any length of time and have no idea about. I’m disappointed as I thought that you would really finding some usable genus products. Not a thumbs up this time sadly.
Loved the channel when it was actually products you tested over time and determined were must haves. Not this list of cheap Amazon crap you think might be useful and some of which is dangerous.

I’ve always read this and the Department of Motor Vehicles published that as well.
Yes I read a really scary story where a child was choked to death after their car crashed due to the head strap
This needs to be higher up, that is soooo unsafe!

Came to the comments to say the same thing. So dangerous.
Accessories attached to the carseat during an accident usually void the warranty of it too.
Suffocation also. A woman had a car accident and it fell down over the babies moth and nose and it suffocated. I remembered reading it because the Aunt wrote about it because she was the one who bought it for them.
I really think they should pin this... Will unsubscribe as I think it's irresponsible they've not responded to this concern.
Please do not advertise the car seat head straps. I understand you likely didn't know but they are not safe! They can cause injury or death in a crash.
The head strap is a no. It doesn’t allow movement that needs to happen in an accident.
Those head holders for the car seat are not recommended by CPSTs. They are not safe and can cause injury in a wreck.
I could see that
I was thinking the head holder was not safe, it could wrap around his neck. I may have to buy one of those lights for my room.
The head holder has strangled a kid before that’s why it became unsafe!
Not safe at all! Kids should also rear-face until age two. It is the law in most states.
I’m sure these are band in U.K. strangulation hazard 😢

Leapfrog is here for the long haul! Lol I'm 32 and I remember using leapfrog around elementary school age.
Right! My daughter is your age and LF came out when y’all were little. Now I buy my 5 y/o granddaughter LF stuff. 🥰

Emorett is such a little trooper!! Precious babies.
Imagine that’s why the strap slides so easily. To help quick release.
I love when you do these videos. God bless your precious family ✝️✝️💟💟💙💗
I thought this was a video of products YOU thought were must haves because you had tried them and loved them.
Hi, I'm in love with your car seat! Can you share the brand?
The sonic toothbrush might gag him. The blue light is beautiful.
Yeah that head strap is a no!
My Daughter is turning 15, it's always so amazing to me what baby gear is out now in 2022. I'm actually thinking of having another baby ...so awesome to see what will be helpful w a new baby. ❤️🤗
The first product is great for only boys. My son had Leap Frog when he was a toddler, he’s 32 now. Love these products for my grandchildren to try.
DO NOT use a head strap!!! So dangerous, risk of internal decapitation. Please just tighten straps properly and your child’s head will be fine. Do not add an aftermarket product to a seat that is not designed or tested for safety!!
Ok, how many of us were opening our mouths when she was trying to get Emorett to open his mouth for the tooth brush???? I know I was! 😆
Here for the car seat comments
Only really like the seat cover, the leapfrog of course & light I love that for me

Actually I'd like the galaxy projector for myself thanks 😊for sharing. Have blessed day and wonderful weekend.

Leapfrog has updated their design since my boy was little. The little urinal is cool!
What car seat do you have for emmorett?! I love it
I’d live to know as well
We had a travel potty seat and we loved ours! It was a Godsend to have!
The foldable toilet seat is awesome! 🎉
I like the idea of the portable potty cup in case of emergencies, but it didn't need to have the eyes on it. This to me is a bit strange. Perception matters especially to the young.
Hopefully child doesn't think that its a sippy cup or something and drinks it while you not looking ha ha
In an emergency of a similar nature with my 3year old we used an empty water bottle. It worked just fine...
I have a light that is more like the Aurora borealis. It is super calming, has a 2 hour timer, plays music and has Bluetooth so the lights dance to the beat and you can also change between diff modes, adjust the colors, as well as the brightness
Do you know what it’s called? :)
@@jacmar16 I got it from Amazon
Star Projector, Rossetta Galaxy Projector for Bedroom, Bluetooth Speaker and White Noise Aurora…
@text me on telegram ok sure, I will make sure to have all my info ready to give you 🤬
Aww bless cute tooth brush x
For disable kids too
That folding toilet seat would make me worry incase they nipped their skin by the parts that fold, but a half decent idea.
The toothbrush ya were supposed to move it left to right my son love it
I had that toilet seat in Winnie the Pooh for my oldest about 7 years ago. He’s 11 this year. Leapfrog toys are fantastic! And yes still sold. Lol.
With the toothbrush- I have the same one for my little one. Theres a way to record a song/music of your choice on it. So it plays while your lil one brushes. You also have to have your little one twist it side to side for it to brush. 😃 Hope that helps :)
We have the light. If you tip it a little on the side it will project over more of the room and seem less intense.

The panda tooth brush was cute… maybe if he turned around and saw himself in the mirror he may have liked it more
Please please stop using the head strap, it could be extremely dangerous or life threatening in a car crash.
I think with the toothbrush you're supposed to move it side to side to help brush
Look up the same toothbrush on Amazon they have it for adult
Lol my daughter is 21 and I still love these just in case a get a grand baby.
Head strap on the car seat can cause internal decapitation and is extremely unsafe. Anything that didn't come with your car seats should never be used.
Yes I use it still
Hey girl just fyi that car seat head strap is so dangerous! lol your videos tho!
I have my baby the same age as Em and I always love these kind of videos. I love your beautiful family 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
I’m with Em on that toothbrush…No.

It hasn't disinfected anything until it dries 😬
@@amycoffin1910 I was just trying to lighten it up. I don’t sit on it wet.
The little toilet seat worked great for my boys. One of them was always afraid of falling in. He wouldn't use the toilet any other way.
They have musical toothbrushes too for kids
There is a Robot light strobe that I came across on Amazon. It’s awesome, especially for a little guy
FYI that Paci that Elodie is holding was recalled… check into it.
My nephew has the leapfrog laptop
Can we have a how you potty trained video? My son is 20 months and I don't know where to start
Just a thought with the tooth brush turn Emorett toward the mirror so he can see the lights flashing .
The head strap😢. Why buy a product without researching its safety😒. And to recommend it to so many people? Idiotic and irresponsible.
Thanks for the info very informative
You need to let him see himself with the toothbrush. He doesn’t know why it’s so cool. Let him see lights!
For the OneDone product, I'm pretty sure the "cone" part is meant for when a little girl needs to use it.
The cone part is to keep the pee from spilling out. OneDone has a different one for girls. The very top has a different shape.
No! That head strap is extremely dangerous and can internally decapitate a child. The AAP came out almost 2 years ago saying how dangerous this is. PLEASE stop using it and recommending it.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Does the one done work for females? This would have been so useful for my boys is
Should have him watch himself in the mirror so he can see the flashing lights in his mouth. 😁
The head strap can slip and suffocate the Bby 😔
I bought one of the toothbrushes for my ten year old they donot clean the teeth
The urinal cup is crap. I bought it, it leaks, not easy to clean and its huge to carry around. Used empty plastic bottles work better!!!
Maybe if you let him see himself in the mirror with the "toothbrush" in his mouth he will stare at the lights?
