HALF WAY DONE THE NEW DEMERARA HARBOUR BRIDGE

The construction of the new Demerara Harbour Bridge is well underway, with significant progress being made. I visited this week to take a closer look at what has been accomplished thus far. Construction of the bridge was one of the main campaign promises of the ruling PPP/C, which is this week marking its 4th year in office.

Looks nice, and the progession of the work is fast. I see the need to develop another 2 bridges to cross this channel when the area starts developing cities and urban/suburb districts. In that warm climate, Guyana can put up infrastructures in record time!!!❤

If not a toll free bridge, I guess the Chinese will operate the bridge when it is complete
