He's assembled a good band around him here. They are tight and doing his fantastic music justice. Arthur was never given the status he deserved in music. A brilliant chap
In a way he was given great status in that the Forever Changes album has forever been a darling of critics and fans of all ages and makes all the 'great' lists. That's not exactly obscure.
@@toddparke8535 that's true brother but in the grand scheme of things the name "Love" and "Arthur Lee" are still pretty obscure. And in his lifetime Lee couldn't make good money from his art, which he deserved.
One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands ever! Arthur Lee was a true genius! Also despite this song being written in the 60s and how Arthur was inspired for writing this song after hearing a story from a Vietnam veteran about what it was like over there, this song is more relevant than ever in this day and time. It's extremely relevant with the COVID-19 pandemic, Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine that could potentially turn nuclear, the political climate here the United States, and even climate change that is happening all over the world, those events make this song more relevant than ever!
So good to see Arthur in front of a great band that actually captures the spirit of the songs! Brings back such a flood of memories listening endlessly to Love in all it's different configurations!
Na minha casa não tenho algemas At my house I've got no shackles Você pode vir e olhar se quiser You can come and look if you want to Nos corredores você verá os mantos In the halls you'll see the mantles Onde a luz brilha fraca ao seu redor Where the light shines dim all around you E as ruas são pavimentadas com ouro And the streets are paved with gold E se alguém te perguntar And if someone asks you Você pode chamar meu nome You can call my name Você é apenas um pensamento de que alguém You are just a thought that someone Em algum lugar de alguma forma sente que você deveria estar aqui Somewhere somehow feels you should be here E é tão real para tocar And it's so for real to touch Para cheirar, sentir, saber onde você está aqui To smell, to feel, to know where you are here E as ruas são pavimentadas com ouro And the streets are paved with gold E se alguém te perguntar And if someone asks you Você pode chamar meu nome You can call my name Eu ouço você chamando meu nome, sim I hear you calling my name, yeah Tudo bem agora All right now No momento em que eu terminar de cantar By the time that I'm through singing Os sinos das escolas de guerras estarão tocando The bells from the schools of wars will be ringing Mais confusões, transfusões de sangue More confusions, blood transfusions As novidades de hoje serão os filmes de amanhã The news today will be the movies for tomorrow E a água se transformou em sangue And the water's turned to blood E se você não pensa assim And if you don't think so Vá ligar sua banheira Go turn on your tub E está misturado com lama And it it's mixed with mud Você verá isso ficar cinza You'll see it turn to gray E você pode chamar meu nome And you can call my name Eu ouço você chamar meu nome I hear you call my name

Bryan Maclean was rhythm and Johnny Echols was lead. The solo at the end was Johnny Echols playing one solo and then overdubbing that solo with another solo
One of the greatest songs ever off one of the greatest albums ever, but one thing that bothered me with Arthur Lee was the continued use of the name 'Love'. This is not Love. He should have come up with new names for his new bands. The band that wrote and performed Forever Changes was Bryan Maclean, Johnny Echols, Ken Forssi and Michael Stuart.
It doesn't matter. Love was the former members. He had a right to use it. Look at many of their compositions - A. Lee. It took 40 plus years to bring his message forth.
Mastetpiece. How lucky those young musicians... they got to perform the best album ever together with the legend who made it.
The greatest live performance ever! RIP Arthur Lee

you are so right

Ahead of his time !! McCartney, McGuinn, Morrison, all fans of his music.
@@jospinvanraat8730 Hendrix too!

Arthur Lee and a good band. What more could you want

I just love Love . Arthur Lee is a legend .
One of the greatest bands out there in the best years of my youth
This is perfect music. It hits all the right notes -- then that solo. Wow.
Miss Arthur Lee so much..
I could not love this more
Arthur Lee and Love underrated as hell
So good to see Arthur in front of a great band that actually captures the spirit of the songs! Brings back such a flood of memories listening endlessly to Love in all it's different configurations!
Uno dei gruppi statunitensi che ho sempre amato.Originali e coinvolgenti e con un leader di grande spessore,Arthur Lee.
Your right great band for one of the greatest song writers and singer of all times!
Life’s about what you leave when you go to a new place. RIP. Arthur Lee.

Genius
Brilliant!
They should be bloody headlining!
Fantastic
Superb
BABY LEMONADE WERE REALLY SUPERBE. Really tight. I am curious how the rehearsals were.
YES!
Na minha casa não tenho algemas
At my house I've got no shackles
Você pode vir e olhar se quiser
You can come and look if you want to
Nos corredores você verá os mantos
In the halls you'll see the mantles
Onde a luz brilha fraca ao seu redor
Where the light shines dim all around you
E as ruas são pavimentadas com ouro
And the streets are paved with gold
E se alguém te perguntar
And if someone asks you
Você pode chamar meu nome
You can call my name
Você é apenas um pensamento de que alguém
You are just a thought that someone
Em algum lugar de alguma forma sente que você deveria estar aqui
Somewhere somehow feels you should be here
E é tão real para tocar
And it's so for real to touch
Para cheirar, sentir, saber onde você está aqui
To smell, to feel, to know where you are here
E as ruas são pavimentadas com ouro
And the streets are paved with gold
E se alguém te perguntar
And if someone asks you
Você pode chamar meu nome
You can call my name
Eu ouço você chamando meu nome, sim
I hear you calling my name, yeah
Tudo bem agora
All right now
No momento em que eu terminar de cantar
By the time that I'm through singing
Os sinos das escolas de guerras estarão tocando
The bells from the schools of wars will be ringing
Mais confusões, transfusões de sangue
More confusions, blood transfusions
As novidades de hoje serão os filmes de amanhã
The news today will be the movies for tomorrow
E a água se transformou em sangue
And the water's turned to blood
E se você não pensa assim
And if you don't think so
Vá ligar sua banheira
Go turn on your tub
E está misturado com lama
And it it's mixed with mud
Você verá isso ficar cinza
You'll see it turn to gray
E você pode chamar meu nome
And you can call my name
Eu ouço você chamar meu nome
I hear you call my name

Verse 2:
You are just a thought that someone
Somewhere somehow feels you should be here
And it's so for real to touch
To smell, to feel, to know where you are here
And the streets are paved with gold and if
Someone asks you, you can call my name
You can call my name
I hear you calling my name yeah all right now
Verse 3:
By the time that I'm through singing
The bells from the schools of walls will be ringing
More confusions, blood transfusions
The news today will be the movies for tomorrow
And the water's turned to blood, and if
You don't think so
Go turn on your tub
And it it's mixed with mud
You'll see it turn to gray
And you can call my name
I hear you call my name
Brian on lead and John on rhythm, Arthur probably on acoustic a lot but mostly drowned out...
Bryan Maclean was rhythm and Johnny Echols was lead. The solo at the end was Johnny Echols playing one solo and then overdubbing that solo with another solo
Awesome lml
From the USA . A cult following in USA which I am part of but in Uk and Europe Arthur Lee has godlike status .
Ese negro si sabe rockear!!
Запилить такое соло, можно только под кайфом)
awesome to see it live. I love this song! And the singer doesn't look anything like my imagination. i thought he would be white man. lol. m
I see what REM were listening to...
Why are people walking past are they divs going to watch Ed sheeren?
No taste in music or anything else Allegedly

silverspaceflyer unfortunately most of them died Lee was the epicentre Perhaps a flawed genius but hey
Terrible unsympathetic drummer. Does he think he is in a rock band?
The same goes for all the band.
