Hi, At about 7:28-7:30 you mention you can 'pay 25.00 and make it a bottomless brunch' is that talking about the food you can order or the alcohol you can order? I ask because from some of what I've seen the portions are a bit small? Like the 'chips' and guac. you talked about earlier, I'm more interested in the food selections than getting intoxicated. Thanks.
Hi Guys - another great, interesting and very informative veg. I really enjoyed it, and made me even more excited for my upcoming voyage in July. Thanks for taking the time do do these vlogs, I love them, and its very much appreciated...Terry
As a multiple traveller on Virgin, I would love to see them change up their menus. Not saying anything was bad, I'd just like an alternative on future voyages.
This is great info! I’m considering booking with Virgin. I have a allergy to wheat. Does anyone know if they can accommodate for gluten free in all the restaurants or maybe have some options labeled GF ? Thank you
All the restaurants have gluten free options! Feel free to email me if you might want to book through me and I can look into it more for you! j.buraczenski@magicalvacationplanner.com.
One additional note--if you order something thru room service that has a charge, the delivery charge is waived. Yes, you can get alcohol, but you can also get a specialty coffee or tea or fresh squeezed juice and eliminate the delivery charge. Bottom line, you're going to pay the $5 anyhow, so why not get a specialty beverage for it?
could I send you a Calendly link to meet with me at a time of your choosing to talk about an upcoming virgin cruise my wife and I are interested in going on?
Great video! I have 2 questions I hoped you’d be able to answer… 1. Are the alcoholic drinks at the speciality restaurants (you say you got margaritas at the Mexican for example) all inclusive for that menu? Or do you still have to pay extra for any alcohol on the ship? 2. Did you notice what their policy with allergens was? I’m coeliac so hoping to not miss out too much. Thanks! 🚢
Thanks!! Alcohol is extra everywhere on the ship! Mild prices though and you can prepay $300 towards your bar tab. They are great with allergies but I recommend reaching out to VV prior to your sailing!
If you purchase the $300 bar tab in advance of your cruise, there is always a "bonus" added by VV. The bonus has ranged from $50 to $125...but it is always something! On our cruise it was $100, so that was the same as getting 25% off the posted drink prices if you used up the tab. We paid for the waygu beef at Gunbae, and we agreed that we wouldn't do it again. THe marinated beef on the menu was better!
Between Sandals, Virgin and all the other cruise lines you’ve experienced; which would you say had the best quality food and/or alcohol? Also, which experience do you prefer, the cruise ship vacation or the all inclusive resort vacation? No politician responses either, I want a clear and concise answers, LOL!
Virgin had a best food, hands down! Alcohol seems all the same to me across the board (they all over the top shelf favorites) I (Jenna) prefer all inclusives while Andy generally prefers cruises!
I saw that you can only eat in each restaurant once on a trip. As a vegetarian, who wants nothing to do with the steakhouse or Gunbae (the smell would make me sick), I do not like this policy.
Thank you...I will be going on my 1st VV SL cruise...this was so helpful!
We are so glad it was helpful- enjoy your cruise!!
Thank you so very much! I am so excited for our upcoming cruise.
Have an amazing time!!
Good job you two!!
Thank you!!
This was such a good review!!! ❤
Thank you so much!!!
Very helpful. Thanks!
You are very welcome!
Are the specialty restaurants serving the same menu for lunch and dinner or do you need to get a dinner slot for the best options?
Dinner always had the most/best options if the restaurant was open for both meals!
@@ACoupleTravelers Cool good to know, thanks.
Like all the features of this cruise. I like ncl solo cabin options as a single person.
absolutely need a decent amount of chips! one cruise they had spinach artichoke dip and, like, 4 chips! needed at least 12!
Agreeeeeeed!

Yes - such a good point! thanks for the reminder! :)
Do the drinks you order at a restaurant come out of your bar tab?
Yes! If you don’t have a bar tab, it’ll just charge to the room.

Hi Scott! Technically, you can only make one reservation per eatery. But, you can always do a walk up!
@@ACoupleTravelers I had heard that if you don't have a reservation you were basically out of luck. What was your experience?
@@zork999 walk ups were welcomed and easy was our experience!
