It appears Swami Sarvapriyananda Ji talks like an academician who doesn't want to denounce anything. I even noticed once he sounded like Hinduisam and Advaita Vedanta are two different things! Well, this approach may not work in all situations. The best way is to follow what Adi Sankara did towards the other schools of thought that had questioned/rejected the Vedas and threatened the very existence of Sanathana Dharma apart from being a mere follower of his philosophy.

👍❤👍Yes I completely agree with Advaita Vedanta because Only Lord Shiva fits for Advaita Vedantas philosophy because the Shiva name itself literally gives u the meaning "Nothing" in the sence the pure Consciousness (ISKON or Krishna Devotees doesn't agree with Formless Krishna, they strongly ague tht the Krishna definitely has the Human form in Goloka & it is the final destination for every jiva atman (Soul) 🙏❤🙏Hare Krishna 🙏😵‍💫

Follow Krishna not ISKCON.Let me answer in plain language: Both “descriptions” of the God as formless or having the form are not only correct; they are Realities = manifested and un-manifested realities. “Choosing” the one or the other “description” depends on the context. God is descripted as formless when it is treated as the un-manifested God “behind” the whole universe - The One preceding the manifestation of the universe. When speaking about God with Arjuna (Self / Atman of the human being) the God is treated as manifested through the universe itself and through the Atman (the Image of the God) dwelling in a human being. The teaching of Krishna presented to Arjuna is the teaching about the various ways to understand and practically realize that there is no difference between the Atman and Brahman. This realization should be achieved by a manifested human being…

@@manslayeronly7659 @Himanshu Vatsh read completely🙏i think u r 🐑 who fallows blindly in the devotional path 👣 but we are in yoga 🧘‍♀️ path, u only believe what is written in the Scriptures, that to blindly by reading front of the text & meaning, u don't have knowledge to read in depth with the meaning, Ex: reading about the Tea recipe and tasting about the tea ☕ is not one, U can experience the Tea by having/ tasting ☕, scriptures & devotional path can only gives the definition of the God or ☕, u cannot taste in the ☕ by reading scripture or by devotion, devotion is nothing but illusional path, where u can see 👀 the God by u r illusional eyes, but in reality there is no God atol, in the sence God can be experienced but he can't be experienced by u naked eye with ur body, why because he doesn't have a human body atol, which is nothing but formless, Lord shiva can be experienced in 3 types 1: formless 2: semi formless which is shiva lingam, with the form too (Shankar/ Rudra) Answer to ur question I leave to u itself please research on meaning of Shi+va, what u know is only 2 meanings of the Shiva but there are lots of mathematical calculations in the letters as well Shi+Va, Shiva is not just one words it's a combination of 2 Shi+va=Shiva, "Shi" is the representative of Shiva himself with non materialistic(No) & "Va" is the representative of Shakti which is Materialistic "things" 🌿🍃, Shakti can be called as with the name of Shivaaaaaa too, so Purusha+Prakriti: No+things= Nothing, what u know is little bit, just 2 meanings, but there is a lot to know, do research on it, Krishna thought Bhagwath Geeta & he gave more importants to Devosional path & Shiva gave Yoga 🧘‍♀️path which is why he is called AdiYogi too, every Yoga 🧘‍♀️ teachers who enlightened through 🧘‍♀️ talks about Shiva & they are devotees of Shiva only Ex: Ramana Maharshi, Sri M, Sadhguru, Moji Baba, Papaji, Vivekanand, Yoganand, Maha Avtar Babaji, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, etc,,,,,,& every devotion path Walker or believers of scriptures who are devoted to Krishna / Narayan only why because, if u want reality to be red u can fallow Devotional path( illusion path), if u want reality to be experienced then u will walk in the 🧘‍♀️ path, in yoga there is no need of devotion on any God, look Scriptures are matter for only those walks on devotion path because they wants God's help to reach final destination but yoga people don't look any help from God, because they experience the God within them, they them self utter" Shivoham" Meaning "I am Shiva" 🙏

I don't know if it helps someone but as a Mathematical Physicist and a Seeker, I find the answer is very straightforward if you seek beyond the realm of illusive mind, "it's to consciousness and at the same time as consciousness." Think of the infinite ocean and the icebergs. Icebergs are an integral part of the ocean, all the same as the ocean but due to the lack of heat, they seem to be different from the ocean as solid objects. The Supreme Shiva said when the Sun of Gyana rises the icebergs melt into the ocean and there remain no differences between them. What would one say now about icebergs? Are they illusory? Are they true? Are they just lies? No, they are not illusions or completely true. They are just different in states sharing all the similarities inside. That works as same with this material world. Like the icebergs this material world is at the same time illusory and true, and at the same time not true and not illusory. It reminds me of Godel's famous incompleteness theorem here. So, we should understand debating this is unending. Rather we should use the word temporary. This world seems real until you allow it to be real. Because the truth is there are only quantum signals outside which your sensory organs receive as light particles, sound waves etc, the mind analyses them and shows you this real seeming 3D world. If you had more sensory organs you could have seen a 5D world. The dimensions are temporary but when your Gyana or awakening happens and you reach the Nirvikalpa Samadhi and beyond, then just like the icebergs this real-seeming world with yourself immerses into the infinite ocean of Consciousness, the Parabrhma, the Sadashiva. Just like the icebergs your state is changed. Best from Cambridge, MA. Om Namaha Shivaya.

Advaita and Buddhism are extremely similar. Even Vaishnavism agrees with it. Our teachers called advaita - prachhanna bauddha or hidden Buddhism. Although the founder of advaita - Adi Shankara criticized certain beliefs of Buddhism in his Vedanta Sutra bhashya, he himself agreed that his philosophy was quite similar to the one preached by Buddhist philosophers.

@@FromPlanetZX excuse me, you're mistaken. All Vaishnavas, not even a single exception, easily defeated mayavada. Starting with Ramanuja's mighty attacks in his Vedartha sangraha and Sri Bhashya which no mayavadi has yet replied to. His disciples wrote scholarly works like shatdushani to give 100 proofs to reject advaita.
Then Madhva and his disciples who literally obliterated advaita through the Veda and Purānas. Raghavendra tirtha, vyasatirtha, etc are feared by mayavadis even today. Just in 1900s, a Madhva scholar challenged mayavadis and no one appeared on the scene, LOL.
Then Nimbarkacharya and Vallabhacharya's final nails on the coffins. In every Vaishnava sect, you'll find a systematic refutation of mayavada and other Veda viruddha Kudarshanas. You just need to look for it.
