Old or new... Machine Head is not only the best "metal" band in existence, but also one of those rare occurrences when a "band" or "artist" transcends their "art" and becomes something more! Machine Head are far more than just a "metal band"!

Robb Flynn flip flops between metal and rap. Alienating his hardcore fans. (Slam poetry is awful too) The man is an absolute drama queen too. Rides the coattails of PANTERA. went to great lengths to further damage Anselmos Career. The most 2 sided male in metal ain't so metal after all.

This song and much of the other material on The More Things Change... marks a solid transitional phase between Burn My Eyes and The Burning Red. Honestly, owning all three albums I think they are each fantastic front to back. Really, besides Supercharger there's not a weak link in Machine Head's library.
supercharger have many great tracks as well but it is a bit whinny (anyway its ok for me but I understand people expected something more badass like davidian)
milekhh it has some good stuff but it’s watered down and doesn’t have enough consistency for me to call it genuinely good. The longer tracks leave much to be desired - but they do pave the way for what was to come on TTAOE’s pair of epics.
