The drums on The Failsafe are SO ridiculously good
Metalcore in the 2000's was special, it was a perfect mixture of Heaviness and Beauty. Misery Signals is Metalcore at it's Finest.
They don't make metalcore like this anymore. Awesome set

Malevolence. Not the same but it scratches my mid 00s metalcore itch like nothing else these days.
this is so tight. no backings and unnecessary stuff, just pure and clean work.
Yeah you can’t even hear the tracks they use, but it’s just ambient reverb stuff, nothing that makes or breaks the set
It’s definitely there during A Victim, A Target. They’ve played to a click for a very long time.

Such low views for one of the pioneers of metal core.
Definitely throws me off that a band that’s this influential doesn’t get a lot of views on my channel but I also know my viewership leans towards deathcore and modern metalcore
So happy they started with The Failsafe classic ! The Year Summer Ended In June is a song that means a lot to me as I lost a brother in June of 2014 so I used to scream out my frustration to it while driving .. Thanks Leo always bringing me the live shows I would otherwise not see.

These guys are a one in a generation kind of band.
Sure, they're a genre band, but I couldn't find any other melodic hardcore/metalcore group that hit the spot for me quite like them. Brilliant guitars and drums work, top notch musicianship and from what I've seen from live videos just absolute beasts live, insanely tight performances!

Bringing Jesse back is the best decision they’ve made.
I always thought Karl's screams are rather one dimensional. I mean Controller is one hell of an album but vocal wise, Jesse is on a completely different level.
I love both vocalists, I am partial to Karl though. I didn't get into the band until the controller era and that album is in my top 3 of all time.

20:00 this whole section is gorgeous and the kind of thing metalcore bands for the most part don't do anymore and I wish they did.
Can't figure out why they would tune up a half step. Sounds way off in my opinion. Maybe that's why Ryan was constantly tuning mid song. I hope they stick to C in the future.
