Hope you gamers enjoyed the video! It's a bit different from my normal uploads. Let me know down below! 👇
Of course, we enjoyed SCP 096's new proposal, I hope the devs see this and make him slightly better in a future update
This was honestly smart, hilarious, and sexy! I loved these proposals and like how it's lore accurate while also focusing on fun gameplay. I think if his attacks are going to be 3 to 4 shots though, his rage should last somewhat longer as well honestly, cause SCP-096 doesn't stop until the people who see his face is dead, so making the timer for his rage longer is more lore accurate and makes up for his damage nerf. Overall, great video!
One thing I'd want changed is how his rage works. Cannonically, he stays enraged until everyone who's seen his face is dead, then calms down. My problem is that he can gun down anyone while enraged, even those who didn't see his face. I'd make it so 096 can only hurt those who have seen his face, but can still bulldoze through anyone standing inbetween him and his victim, sending them flying in ragdoll. Another thing I think would be funny is that 016 (I think that's the AI's number) could relay camera feeds to moniters throughout the building, making for some stupid combo potential with 096
What if he gets faster and agros faster when in proximity of a lot of targets while docile, makes it not a chore to go any where
i like the new thumbnail style
The ragdoll proposal is a seriously good idea that needs to be developed, because it gives SCPs much needed crowd control against coordinated/unintimidated teams.
No. We dont want it to be fully developed. We want the most broken, low gravity goofy haa ragdoll known to mankind
IMHO It should be a 2-shot undeniably. Reason being, its unfun to chase a ragdoll, and its EXTREMELY Unfun to be stunlocked. Stunlock mechanics are very hated for a reason. So it should be a one-two punch, giving people chances to save comrades, or atleast delay between kills.

Obviously, it’s not that 096 has a problem, it’s the lack of a good gamer chair
That’s still their problem for not having a gaming chair
Making him crowd *control* instead of crowd *murder* is the perfect way to fix him. I love this proposal.

I’m fine with 096’s current state, even if it has its flaws, but I absolutely cannot accept how broken the 096/173 combo is. If you look at them, 096 kills you unless you manage to retreat into an elevator. If you look down, then 173 gets close and is within range to snap you. And I’m not going to accept the “look down at a certain angle to see 173’s feet” argument because that still puts 173 in range of killing you
Ik, I ended up with a 096 / 173 combo, it's impossible to even escape it
Actually Its not impossible just extremely hard. I've seen a dboy as a 096 and 173 on him evade us for minutes on end somehow looking at peanut while not triggering 096, not sure if its patched or not though.
@@RiftWalker111 yeah, but if you are alone and your teammates have split up (for no reason) it's not easy at all to escape them unless the MTF Army knows what they are doing, also I didn't know that you could look at 173 without triggering 096 which probably is a bug but I'm probably sure it got patched
Tips if your ever going up against that combo.
1. Get the micro and kill 096 immediately
2. Ball + elevator = scp trap
To be fair it would be pretty easy to program a way that makes sure this combo never happens. Maybe one day.
The amount of meme potential scp 096 is gonna get is massive with ragdolls
I think 096, when is rage mode, should be able to grab a player and use them as a weapon to smash into people or be thrown at people. The grabbed player would still be speaking whilst being used to club their teammates to death.

Ye
Something I've thought about for the longest time regarding 096 is his vision. I feel like when he's docile, he should maybe not actually see other players. If someone looks at him, they show up in his vision, but only them, and they stay visible to him until they die, even if they're converted to a zombie. In addition to this, a picture with his face in it should be part of the item pool, and should have a chance to show up when people are upgrading cards in the 914. Picking this item up immediately marks you and starts 096's enrage.
That sounds like comedy gold

i like the idea of 096 having infinite life but can have mtf sneak up behind him when he's docile and bag his head mainly for his actual lore
edit: any other ideas that people have relating to any aspect of bagging the shy guy are appreciated
It should only last for a small amount of time however, as in-lore, SCP-096 will claw at things covering its face and rip them off after a while.
that'd be dope, like the bag locking the rage ability for upwards of 20 seconds preventing 096 from just walking into people's faces trying to get them to trigger rage
@@nmeister007 didn't actually know that thanks for filling me in

What if they implemented scramble goggles as an extra asset to the human team.
-moderate NV effect
-consumes power(90 seconds of use)
-uses batteries as “ammo”
-scramble ability(while active you can’t agro 96, but it consumes 3x the power)

honestly i think only the people who have looked at him should be visible through walls. That way when 096 is in rage form the people who looked at him are getting punished the most and on top of that even if they do evade 096 they're still marked which is pretty lore accurate and adds some use to him when docile.
Thats exactly what he said???????

@@uncroppedsoop ? He did though
@@kingacrisius no, he said some kinda similar things
I think another interesting thing that may not work but would keep 096 closer to its lore is when someone looks at its face, it will stay enraged until that person is killed. Now of course there would need to be some system where it can also ONLY see the individuals that saw its face to stop the player from ignoring that person to stay enraged.
That second system already exists, and is mostly pointless. 096 can see everyone before he enrages, so he basically knows where they are, and can just swing roughly where they were and kill them.
@@kingacrisius but if you run he will have no clue. And yeah, it could be a broken system which ends up with 096 being enraged the entire game. Maybe a system could be implemented where he only has a certain amount of time to kill his victim or something bad happens like his cooldown is longer or something.
make your player lose control and go after the play upon not killingg the target for a while, and it becomes harder and harder to fight as you drag your cursor and try to avoid him longer
Technically SCP 096 ALWAYS can see everyone, it just doesn't care as long you don't see the face, it will kill anything that is trying to stop it on killing his target, I think making that unless you either see the face or hurt him, 096 will do no damage is better
@@nadadada3938 yeah but then a player could just use it’s rage to kill people it didn’t look at.
Great proposal, the ragdoll and awareness features sound promising. I am wondering though what would the ability cooldown between 096's rages be?
It better not be the same
You'd think only a second or two because putting a cooldown on that is basically putting a cooldown on attacking
I love the ragdoll idea, I was also thinking 096 might be able to hit people with other people that he ragdolls, The hitbox could be the chest of the ragdoll and it would make for some cool moments.
Also, Bowling
Haven't played in a bit, but I think 096 could also benefit from new map generation with destructible terrain. Yeah, he can tear through doors, but in canon literally NOTHING can stop 096 from reaching his target. Add in some destructible walls or hell, some feature that allows 096 to carve a new path between the levels.
Just imagine you’re in entrance after barely escaping 096 by elevator timing, and then he just jumps up through the floor and yeets you.
Personal note: I think destructible terrain would also buff 106, and having this would need to have the non-instakills mentioned in this video
An idea I thought was neat would be something like the SCRAMBLE goggles in the 096 lore.
They allow players to look at 096 without triggering it, preventing 096 from essentially creating a buffer to protect scps around and behind it by preventing the player from looking up to shoot at them, and could mitigate somewhat that defeating feeling of seeing 096 and being nowhere near an elevator, and just ending up waiting to die in a way that feels very unfair. The catch could be that 096 still triggers if you damage it, and the goggles could have a limited charge like the radio or maybe could even be jammed by 079.
2 or 3 pairs could be found in a potentially revamped 096 room, and the SCRAMBLE gear could be made in 914, maybe with another form of regular night vision goggles that the chaos insurgency spawn with to fix the issue of very low visibility on the surface zone, or could have a small chance to come out of flashbangs or a ghostlight on very fine.
EDIT:
Watched the video, I think your points are correct and thinking about it maybe just simply adding a hard counter that not every player can get their hands in anyway is not the best idea. I still think the goggles could work, maybe kept rare on the map and on the level on an SCP item so it feels rewarding to get.
1. even if they have limited battery or can be jammed by 079, that's incredibly unfun for the 096, because if there's not a competent 079, or just straight up not an 079, 096 is SOL and can't play the game while the mtf just prance on by laughing at you.
2. In lore the scramble goggles were intentionally designed not to work, and it's damn near impossible to get it to work, because it would require computing faster than the fucking speed of light.
That sounds like a neat change
i wanna point out those goggles in their own entry are considered suicide.
@@yerfriendlyneighborhoodsco3337 I thought the reason the goggles didn't work is because the researcher in charge of 096 sabotaged them, no?
@@tyaz6556 Its been insinuated that, and the fact its not really possible for it to process the information fast enough before it gets to their eyes for a split second
An amazing idea. And 096 really needs to be worked out. Even after scopophobia, he really has too few interesting abilities.
I think this idea would be amazing if there would be a random picture of 096 on a paper spawn in a random room in light or a drawer, this will give you a extra source of information and will give scientist and d-class a extra way to kill someone
I think maybe instead of the slamming animation it could be an eating animation that instantly kills you, that's why there's nothing left of you, he literally consumes you.
With or without items?
@@YensAces no, quite literally he eats you. That's the redacted part of the file.
@@Cu-Copper with.
Neat idea, but using an unused animation is way cooler to me.
@@rangoon2 maybe it could be a combination of both, tenderizes you before consuming.
For the seeing through walls you could have it that the first person to see him each time can be permanently seen through walls, and have every on after him been seen till the next enrage. The permanently seen people could have a very small radius where they would light up detect other people around them so that they would bring death and 096 with him, as in the law he never loses his target and kill's any on in the way.
"Have to play smart"
Have you even experienced this community before?
The one thing I see as being annoying playing against him is the item dropping mechanic, but only because it takes forever to pick your weapon back up, maybe if it was somewhere around 50% chance to drop your item, otherwise a whole fireteam of people would be forced to stand still to pick their weapons back up just to have a fighting chance, but other than that small issue, brilliant idea. 👍
If they put their item away, they don't drop it. So, if 96 is barreling down a hallway, an MTF can just put their weapon away at the last second so they don't have to drop anything.
one additional idea to yours, is maybe have 096 be able to rage at will based on a stamina pool instead of if people look at him. Maybe have people looking at him lets him regain stamina faster, but there is nothing worse then knowing where someone is and not being able to do anything about it, he's the only SCP besides computer who can't attack at will. This would help deal with the "down time" as you put it, 096 now is able to decide when to commit instead of being forced to depend on the enemy to allow him to do so
I like your ideas for 096 a lot! Here’s some of my own:
•096’s speed should exponentially increase as his targets get further away from them
•If 096 lands his first hit on a target, his attack cooldown should be extremely lowered, allowing 096 to chain multiple fast hits if they aim correctly. If 096 misses, he’ll just have the regular attack cooldown
•There should be an amnestic item found in 939’s room (because in the lore the Foundation uses 939 to create an ammestic), and if a player takes it, they’re no longer a target. They also become immune to becoming a target for a few seconds.
•On the other hand, in 096’s cell there should be a printed photograph of 096 laying next to the headless guard. If a player looks at the photo, they instantly become a target, and there’ll be text on the top of 096’s screen that says where that person is so 096 will be able to track them down better.
•096 should have an ability where all humans in a close proximity to him are slowly forced to look at his face, and the humans have to try and fight it. Yeah, it doesn’t make sense, but 096 on his own is a terrible SCP, and he can’t kill anyone if people just look down the whole time. The only way 096 is effective is when he catches people off guard
•MTF Captains should be able to bag 096, but only while 096 is on cooldown after a rage, so the Captain has to be fast. Once 096 is bagged, he has to be escorted back to his containment cell (if nuke went off, 096 just dies), but other SCPs will be able to break him out of the bag and restraints.
•096’s triggering range should be extremely lowered, because it’s so unfair when you turn a corner and spot 096 ten hallways down and he gets enraged. At most, the rage distance should be 2.5 rooms. The rage distance is increased if you’re on surface or if you’re looking directly at his face through a sniper scope
Addendum to the idea: 096 ragdolls on first hit, but in the short moment the player is down 096 can grab the player and eviscerate them so its a 2 hit kill, but in doing so it takes time to kill a player so he's vulnerable while mauling a player.
What about adding the ability to keep your eyes closed?
It'd be more fairer and it allows the dev to make 096 able to see other players without needing to not be enraged, also 096 can't just JUMP infront of them or tryna bait them directly, but still allows them to do it in different ways.
I really like the Insta Kill cool down, It pairs pretty well and in a giant group, they have a slightly better chance to defeat him.
Or they could adds a feature that if you can 'bagged' 096's face so nobody can view his face, this features pair pretty nicely with the 'closed eyes' ability.
Idea the computer could possibly put images of SCP 096 on the decorated computers
While I like 096 being able to slap around humans, I would like the humans to also be able to pick up pictures of 096 that have been left around. I imagine the pictures spawning under items, facedown, with a note on the backside saying "SCP-096." The human could then pick up the picture (with an individual prompt and interaction), and holding the picture in your hand shows the image to anyone in front. Anyone who sees the image triggers 096 like normal, regardless of distance. Probably needs more work, but I think it could work.

@@rrakso_ ''umm aktshulaly you can still look at 173 feet''
Imagine just walking down a hallway but then you here 096 and somebody just flys across the hall infront of you.
The one problem i see with this idea is that ragdolls can often be inconsistant and can be unfun to play with, you basicially get spam ragdolled and cant do anything
I can just imagine it right now, a whole spawn wave of mtf is a hallway, looking at 96, just getting flung everywhere when 96 charges into them, a party popper of people shotgun out of the hall.
Best 096 update.
Revert back to pre big 096 update (forgot how it was called) but keep the "seen detection" improvments.
Done, now they sre fun again
I think SCP-096 should still keep the whole 'crowd-control' feature, as canonically he has slaughtered an entire team of MTF while also being torn up by an attack helicopter.
There is a risk with ragdolls and that is getting stuck after recovery. No doubt going to be a wave of exploits where people get ragdolled into a specific prop or corner and then teleport outside the map or into a different floor.
What about a horrific ear-piercing scream that blurs the vision of players before he charges?
Solid proposal but 4 shot on heavy armor may be a bit to much
I havent played SCP:SL in over a year, but I agree with this idea. Ragdolls go funny.
Instead of 3-4 shots for the damage I think it should be he gets slightly stronger with each person who looks at him
this video has done irreparable damage to the scp sl community.
2 things.
1 - I think for the duration of his rage ALL scps should be able to see his targets mostly for the team work but, lore-wise if this is a universe where 096 wasn't terminated everyone would scream in terror when they realize they've sealed their fate hence the location being known to all scps.
2 - I feel that all players that have looked at 096 should be notified that they have seen its face. On that note everyone in the game should hear 096's scream (cry?) for the duration of his rage both as a warning and intimidation tactic.
Maybe instead of instakill with a 10 second cool-down, it just takes 5-10 seconds of slamming to kill a player with no cool-down. Fits your suggestion better because it’s an easy way to finish off lone humans, but is extremely risky against a team
I think they should add SCRAMBLE gear but make it so that they can’t do anything to harm 096 whilst it’s active like making it disable whenever they pull out weapons
To make 096 better with 079. Why not have it that when he runs into a door, rather than it getting shattered and destroyed, he plays a quick animation of himself prying it open faster than it does automatically. While not as fast as him smashing it. It’s at least considerate for 079
096 is tricky to balance but I think very one cam agree he's too strong as Is, especially with the other scps being buffed across the board
Oooh also after the insta kill they can trow the dead body to other people, so you can kinda style on and combo the monk-ass humans
Also you need to rev up the trow so it feels more responsive and less spameable
I like the idea that 096 can see anyone that sees his face through walls. I was thinking that he could maybe reactivate his rage if he's within range and LOS of someone who looked at his face.
Current state of 096 for me is that he is Not fun to really play as most of the time or even against.
His main problem is that his gimmick is already difficult to do, where people can look away from him and stuff. Maybe if he had more abilites like being able to force someone to look at him by grabbing them and turning them to face him, and also being able to peak corners or crouch to lower his head position would be dope. Also if he was able to be not cry as much so like replace the door docile thing with a ability you have to hold a key down for, which when held stops any noises, but when released would make him cry louder for a couple of seconds, with a smallish cooldown on the holding back tears.
The main thing he really does it shredding waves, cause there will always be someone to look at him while others will suffer.
I would keep the instant kill, but have him not be able to kill those that dont look or shoot at him.
Your proposition is good and all, but the practicality of him yeeting people accross different rooms is interesting, but he doest do that. He rips them apart and eats them.
The idea of him being able to eat corpses for some hp isnt a bad idea. His docile thing of being able to see everyone really nulifies one of the aspects of Computer.
Well that wouldn’t make sense lore wise. He actively hates being looked at and avoid it by covering his face so grabbing you and forcing you to see his face would contradict lore. Still something similar would be nice.
Already he isnt being lore accurate, he would just stay in his cell.
This is a god tier proposal ngl.
Love how there is 4 chats in this stream you can see at once
The ragdoll proposal is awesome but I also think they can add a non-ragdoll attack that does a less than 50 damage (probably a 50% chance you ragdoll them or just scratch them a bit.)
I think the ragdoll should have an element of control to it too, maybe you have a small window to throw them in a direction? That way you can throw them to a teamate, or towards a closer wall, or off the rare cliff.
I think the ragdoll shouldn't apply to normal attacks but one of his abilities could be to pick someone up and throw them anyone hit by this would also ragdoll
@@quisquiliarum7710 That kinda ruins the point of the ragdoll. Its to make it so that you can actually do something about 096 attacking you, rather tha. Just dying instantly
how does getting ragdolled let you do anything against him though? you can't do anything if you're ragdolled. It just extends the ttk giving your teammates more time to do something it would actually let you do more if it didnt ragdoll you
@@quisquiliarum7710 because if you get up before he can come back, you can at least try to run away. Then 096 has to choose to keep attacking who they were attacking, or instead go for the people shooting him.
i like the ideia, really fits with the same purpose as 049's changes of removing the instakill, would balance the game.
It feels like it could be somewhat frustrating to play as 096 like this (with the ragdolling). Some form of middle ground could be useful - trying to get to a d-boi you threw before he got up could be annoying, but if you could right click to just start mauling him in an animation that took a few seconds, it would work.
It lets 096 remain extremely deadly against individuals, while allowing counterplay and a chance for people in groups. Sorta reminds me of the original gmod version of the game, where a zombie could get a quick chip-damage hit in with left click, and a slow buildup to a 1HKO with right click. Most zombies did badly, but if you were good, you could use scenery etc and pull off ambushes that would wipe out whole squads.
Extra suggestion: when you ragdoll and drop your item if it's a gun the should be a chance for it to go off when it hits the floor
I'm so glad you aren't a Dev
i feel like he should be able to peer through heavy doors (e.g 914), if no one looks at him he , he will go away, if there is someone in there that looks at him, he pulls the door open and gets enraged, also, enraged should take a little longer to activate.
So the proposal is to turn him into yet another support SCP? So there are only really two attack SCPs then? 3-4 hits is still a lot, especially with how annoying hit boxes are w circling and b-hopping. I’d say 2-shotting if anything. Right now, it seems like the formula is: be slow and hit hard but good luck catching literally anyone outside of an ambush, or be fast and take 67 decades to kill someone since the hit boxes are garbage and it’s a 4 shot kill. Idk I like where your head is at, but there are a lot of other things that need to be fixed in the game before that would actually be fun to play.
I'm gonna be completely honest, while this is an interesting and unique concept for how to change 096, I personally think this is one of the worst possible ways to rework him.
I do think some changes need to be made, especially with his strength when paired with other SCPs. However, and I don't say this to be rude, all of these changes sound like the most annoying, overengineered possible solutions to problems that realistically only need some mild, targeted tweaks.
One small but significant change they could make is to add a small delay before looking at him triggers him, similar to pre-rework 096, to prevent instances of looking at him for one or two frames from miles away and instantly get marked for death. Maybe make this delay dynamic depending on the situation; make it take 4 consecutive frames of seeing his face to trigger him while docile, 2 while he's entering rage mode so large groups that look at him at the same time all get marked, 8 while he's attacking so you have more reaction time to this now quicker-moving threat, and add an extra 4 for each additional SCP on-screen or within a certain radius of the player so you can maintain awareness of your surroundings without getting immediately screwed. Maybe make distance from 096 also increase or decrease this delay, so somebody right next to him instantly aggros when looking at his face, whereas someone much further away gets extra time to react. And to help demolish the 173/096 combo, make it so that the delay is multiplied by 2 on top of all of these other modifiers when 173 is near, so you can glance at 173 as needed when they're together to prevent certain death.
That's my thought on the matter, at least. Let me be clear, I do like the ideas you came up with for this, but I simply do not think they make sense, balance-wise.
I'd say a decent idea in my opinion is give him more active tools and decision making in crybaby mode- that is, his gameplay is oriented towards trying to get people to see him and that's where the skill expression and finesse come in.
So, how about making it so he has two crying forms/states. One is quieter and slower, only leaking out the occasional quiet cry, maybe call it 'Crying' and then there is 'Sobbing' where you're letting out a lot of crying noises but are faster to compensate.
Beyond that, give him the ability to crouch in such a way that it *puts his head at the same level as a humans*, as in, his head is right where a normal D-Class head would be. Then, give him leans that he leads with his head.
However, to make this not OP- make it so they must look at your head head box with the center area of their screen and ties it neatly with the crouch- that being that it's a tool that helps deliver that sightline you need. Probably also add a 'vision sense' to him when he spots people so that he knows exactly where they're looking and where he's got to try and put his face.
This'd make it so that you can visually still be able to perceive him and 173 at the same time so that combo isn't as nutty to deal with and give 093 and his opponents more to deal with in the interaction.
And to compensate for say, your changes and these- I'd say just increase 093's defensive stats so he's able to play these mindgames and 'look at me!' tricks while having to worry even less about getting shot.
Though, might be a bit messy to implement- so your changes alone are pretty solid conceptually.
I'm leave this as another idea
I think of you get flung you take extra damage based on distance
Ge should be able to prey open gates without enragememt but takes much longer
096s right click If it hits someone with the body it should also kill
If he pins you against a wall it should be a 1 shot as you'd probably have your corpse slammed through it
And the longer you run the faster he gets till his timer is up
And he should have a faster windup if he left enrage 1 minute
On one hand, I don't like being stunned. On the other, I would be willing to get stunned if it meant funny ragdolls
See in my opinion, 096 is perfect for a single player survival horror game. Literally the perfect antagonist. I'll always remember playing CB for the first time and being forced into that room with 096, and just shitting bricks, staring at the floor, skirting the walls, doing anything to avoid this monster in the room with me. His mechanics are suited for suspense and the build-up of terror, where making just a single mistake will get you killed. But in a multiplayer team-based strategy game like SL? No way. His mechanics make him a glass cannon, useless and vulnerable most of the time and overpowered the rest of the time. He's a menace against groups, but can be easily killed by 2 people if they play it right. The way his 'look and he kills you' gimmick works makes him inherently unbalanced in a multiplayer setting. I think your proposal will certainly make him more fun to play as and against, especially since it'll take him longer to tear through large groups. But the whole 'look and he kills you' thing has to remain, otherwise its not 096. And that's what makes him unbalanced and unsuited for a game like SL.
Old comment but it says a lot that the only SCP some members in northwood would be okay with removing is SCP-096.
One suggestion I have is that every cola you drink makes you get up faster and maxes out at 4 colas like the movement speed increase
The hard part is balancing him around medium to small lobbies too. It's god damn near impossible to play either solo 096 or 096 + 079 if you don't manage to eliminate all witnesses in your first enrage, because then everyone just looks at the floor for the rest of the game, and there's LITERALLY nothing you can do about it
My friends and I proposed giving him a shove ability when he's docile, so that if someone runs up to him, but is looking at the floor, if he shoves them, it'll jostle their view and make them enrage him. I can't tell you how many games we've had in our group where we walk past 096 and treat him as a complete non-threat, and micro will literally nuke him by the time he's done winding up for enrage.
Just give him something to be able to initiate conflict rather than having to be on the receiving end. Even though you're the big bad monster, he feels horrible to play because no engagement is on YOUR terms (unless you catch someone by propping yourself against a door, but Floor Simulator still counters that)
I think it’d be cool if when someone looked at him he gets enraged and stays enraged until all who looked die but he has to take short breaks like if he stays active for 20 seconds then he calms down for like 10 seconds and then starts chasing again so the people still have a chance to evade/fight back
Actually the Roblox version of the game actually added some counters .
In regular mode he is slow and they added the rail gun which kills it immediately. Yeah you have to look for it but it is satisfying to shoot it when it is charging you.
It’s called Project:scp
Make 096 attack range like it was before the rework because back in the day you could juke and dodge 096 with it but it takes alot of skill and sweat to do it
He needs an ability to pick people up and throw them. The thrown and anyone they hit will ragdoll and take the damage of a swipe. but he doesn't have to throw them right away he can carry them around (with a movement speed debuff) and use them as a meat shield too. I can already picture 096 picking someone up and chucking them in the 939 death pit or using one of them as a meatshield to close the distance on someone
I think that also to stop it from being floor simulator, Mtf captains should spawn with scramble gear, and it should also be available in light armoury but have a battery usage like Wally talkies so you can counter 096 but have to be careful with your usage, I also think it would be cool if 079 could maybe effect scramble gear like emp’ing a room or something and having a team of mtf who think they’re safe just get absolutely jebaited by Pc.I think in terms of recontainment, if >300 hp or so, you should be able to bag 096 so it provides an alternate way and a bit more lore accurate way of countering 096 instead of just killing.
Thats a good idea but I think It also should have the hability to detect people he hit that did not see him or bumped into him by accident to reduce the "chase him arround until he runs out of rage" situation or have him slowly build rage if he Is really near to people for too long to reduce the "oh they arent looking at me, I'm useless" situation, this way the players aré being punished for not being careful and exploiting a weakness of an SCP too much :/
What I always imagine is 96 tearing a victim apart, you and your MTF squad encounter him and you all fire in panic as he tears through your comrades one by one
Also for the wall hack mode thing in the lore im pretty sure its based off if you have the image in your brain. if you forget what he looks like he wont attack you so uhh idk maybe an amnesia serum or somthing
nah as of the 4 fucking pixels story which is definitely seen as canon by most people, people didnt even notice he was in the photo but still got attacked
@@God-nu7hy give the scp the serum then
Thanks Markiplier, this video was very informal!
@Nonothankyou Who’s that? We’re on a Markiplier video
@Nonothankyou I don’t think you’re reading the channel name it’s Markiplier you silly billy
@nonothankyou8901 Dude? Are your eyes okay?
@Nonothankyou dude it's literally markiplier you're insane
@Nonothankyou it's markiplier dude do you have eye problems??
Literally the best video of all time, too bad northwood would rather change the engine and artstyle of the entire game 15 more times. gg we almost had em
Right now, 096 to me is on this really weird line between incredibly deadly and really weak. You're able to either look down and entirely avoid his face or get caught completely off guard and proceed to have your death be guaranteed.
I think the ragdoll idea is a good way to change things up rather than just half of the MTF being swept in one 096 rage. I also think the suggestion regarding his ability to see through walls is nice, but in my opinion it would work better if it worked in a certain radius and allowed 096 to ambush the victim, especially with the use of his ability to quiet down. It'd finally have more purpose rather than just being used for camping gates and checkpoints.
The game itself doesnt work in the beginning
Proposal is at 5:49
When 96 is docile he should have a m1 ability where he “shoves” people away from him causing them to rag doll but not as far as his enrage hit. When they’re ragdolled they might accidentally see his face.
There should also be a way to forget 096’s face (aka) not be a target) such as using scp 500 or using amnestics
see the trick is if you look down all your problems dissapear
I was ready for this to suck but you surprised me. This is accurate and good and would be a good addition to the game. Well done my dude
I see darkviperau on the videos
I like how the 096 “fix” was just making it take two hits, which doesn’t matter because it’s fast asf and impossible to duke anyway.
I think the "perma-see" idea is brilliant, because rn pc and shy guy can't spawn in the same round anyway, essentially shy guy can sort of offer an alternative to pc's breach scanner function
northwood should 100000% add that idea (in a balanced way obv)
instakill with a 10 second cooldown already happened (3114 strangulation) and people DESPISED it even though the scp couldnt even close the gap and it was completely avoidable by traveling in groups
id also think a system were people looking at you fill a rage bar and the more times people look at you the faster the bar will fill
How about this; he cannot see anyone unless they've seen his face, this would make sense since he always knows where you are and won't give up the chase, no, i'm not reccomending endless mental breakdown until that person's dead, i'm simply reccomending that 096 can see you through walls and will know where you are for the rest of the game if you spotted his face.
Of course this effect wears off once something kills you.
I want to add to 2 things to the 096 idea
make it so that the players who saw him get the "Dread" status effect, and all it really does it keep the player aware that 096 sees them
and make it so when a player get's ragdolled, they get the Concussed status effect
I think they should add scramble gear. It would be found in the match randomly. It would behave like the hat SCP, but it would behave like the radio as it has a battery. This battery can't be recharged. You click on it in the inventory to play an animation of putting it on/taking it off. This gear effectively just allows you to look at SCP-096 without triggering his rage. This is a rare item to find in the lab, but NTF is guaranteed to spawn with them.
096 was unironically why I stopped playing this game. I would do everything right, then a guy 5 feet away would look at him so 096 would just ram into every wall, spam click, instantly kill me for something that WASN'T MY FAULT and then fuck off. It was awful. If I were to make another proposal, it'd be to make his M1s automatic, so he can't just ram him face into walls until he hits some poor bastard. When he's within range, he swings. I love the idea of the ragdoll, it'd give him lots of nice synergy. Especially in HCZ with 049 and tesla gates.
It would also be very cool if they added a special kind of night vision goggles that when equipped will scramble 096's face when viewing him, buy only for about a minute because the battery life will drain quickly
Good proposal, I also had an idea on how an item could help 096, that being a picture of a forest or something similar (if you know the lore you know the lore) and that basically that marks a death marker on the people that saw it
I think it would be cool if he had a way to get low, like a crouch, crawl, something so there would no longer be floor simulator.
like like an ability to duck down so you have to look away instead of just down
