After all the turmoil in the real world I was so grateful to see your video and regain a sense of proportion and solace in the magnificent engineering and creativity of your Lego water coaster world. Thanks so much.
If you had the time and resources, you could add a second hill and drop to make it like those portable Reverchon log flumes you see at theme parks and travelling fairs.
@@thegentlemansmith5411lol funny you say that…years ago i ate some shrooms and we went up on the roof of the building I was living in. It was 7 floors tall, in front of the building there was a park. Looking down at it, it looked like a model or playset. I almost felt like I could step off over the ledge and be like a giant walking through the park. Thankfully i wasn’t tripping THAT hard and decided that would be a bad idea.
It would be cool if you also showed how to make the chains and rails and such. Unless those are one-of-a-kind pieces. Now do it so all the water is contained inside just the LEGO parts and the glass/plastic tank is only used for leaks and splashes.
Thanks for the comment! Head over to my channel and take a look at my river rapids ride video - this has water contained in a LEGO channel suspended above a tank as you have asked for!
I love your videos! Its great to see the iterative design process. I hope the engineers of tomorrow are watching. Try, fail, improve, succeed! I was gonnna do the same thing, unfortunately all of my 5 foot, 30 gallon polycarbonate vessels are in use for other projects!!! 😂
I think it would be amazing if you took this to the next level and did the lighting like escape from space mountain. I enjoyed trying to figure out how you got the grey belt to look like it was traveling upward. Nice stop motion handy work. Big complement to keeping me in this video. I have wicked ADHD and normally have so many other tab open distractions. This kept me in it.
Customer survey: 3/10 ride was fun but wait time was too long. Feedback: add more catches to increase duty cycle time of the lift. Could decrease customer wait time by 15%. Suggest ride exit to lead directly to a gift shop to increase profitability.
You really overcomplivated the living heck outta that lifthill lol, you can just use 2x2 modifieds with clips combined with 2x2 tiles to push up the chain a little bit by filling in the gaps in the rails to make a normal chain work:p Also little aide note, why you make such a huge boat to only put one seat in it haha! This is awesome though I'm so glad someone managed to pull this off at long last!
That hill lift mechanism is inspired. I motorised the recent Space and Robot coasters but used the narrow links as per your first version and got a lot of slipping. Will try again with the parallel track
Could you provide any information on the clear plastic water trough you have here? Was this made from acrylic or polycarbonate? Did you assemble and seal this from flat sheets yourself or did you have it fabricated as the finished box shape? Do you know how the edges were joined? I've had flat parts made from acrylic before and am interested in the best/budget approach for making water-tight containers like this.
Hi, thanks for the question! I made this from acrylic sheets. I purchased a 10mm base and sides and assembled myself with the correct cement / weld solution. The edges were rough finished (but cut from the supplier) as they could definitely cut straighter edges than me! I welded the edges and left to dry with big clamps. I finished it by sealing the insides with a clear sealant. I don’t know how long it will stay waterproof for but seems to be working OK so far! Good luck in your project!
Can we take a moment to appreciate that you're pretty much the only building channel that properly capitalizes it as "LEGO" and not "Lego"?
Bro calmly owns one of the rarest piece ever (the black octopus)4:32
So glad someone mentioned this! Great spot!
Bro It Costs 5 bucks😂
It's so cheap
I have 15 of it
That’s rare? I have 29 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 oh ye this was an edit when I checked

No worries! Glad you enjoyed the video and that it gave you a bit of a break from reality!

Your so cool for building Lego like that
Batman looking like he is having so much fun!!
Cool!!! I wish I was a minifig!
Me too! Thanks for the comment!
In the context of the universe.....we are minifigs.......am I extremely high.....yes.....yes I am😂
real
I really like the close-up shots, it kind of throws your sense of scale off, you can almost imagine yourself in there.

You can't trick me. Many bricks aren't Legos.🧐🤓🔎😁 But a childhood dream comes true. hilarious build!!!!😂
Hi thanks for the comment! Except for the BuWizz battery and motors - it’s all LEGO or LEGO Technic!
@@BuilditwithBricks Oh, me bad. But wow, even more impressive!😍

I like to think he enjoyed his day off...
@@BuilditwithBricks lol
I absolutely adore this one. Thank you so much for building it and sharing it with us.
No problem at all! Glad you enjoyed it!
Is nobody gonna talk at 4:32 he has the black octopus which is the rarest Lego piece in the entire world

4:09 very real water, definitely not trassparent blue overlay😂
I was going for the authentic look...
Thanks for watching!
That’d make an interesting aquarium
I was literally singing a whole song at this part, the pieces going together sounds like a whole literal beatbox, and I was singing with it lol 0:10

So creative pal. I know how much difficulties you faced while making this amazing video. Great job

Hi, thanks for the comment! Yes - bit of a pain initially so decided to try a new system! Glad you enjoyed the video!
these videos are always so impressive, the creativity and engineering skills involved are honestly crazy
Ah thanks a lot! I appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed the video!
You merely adopted the log flume. I was _born_ in it
C'est génial, cela me diverti très bien..merci
Merci pour le commentaire! Je suis content que vous ayez apprécié la vidéo !
Such an entertaining watch - Great Work !!
Glad you enjoyed it!
They sure get completely soaked on this one 😂
would be way better with less water i think but great build
This is so cool and fairly realistic as well! I’m personally working on a tilt track coaster
Ah I appreciate the support, glad you enjoyed the video!
This needs to be pirate themed, just like the ones in legoland
Hope you have had a chance to check out my LEGO pirate ship ride video!!
Little suggestion: move the ride vehicle forward as soon as the previous one hits the top of the lift hill. That way the wait time is minimized.
This looks amazing! 🤩
Impressive bro, always wanted to do this 😂
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed it!
No way.. BLACK SQUID?? THATS THE RAREST THINGS…..
Good spot!
If I was a minifig, I wouldn't step near this ride.
"Ik zal varen tot het einde der tijden" ahh roller coaster 😂
No way! It's a Dutch guy from Dutchland!
Wow sick!! I love the glass tank
Thanks for the comment - it’s actually a homemade acrylic tank! I couldn’t find anything else out there suitable to use!
@@BuilditwithBricks Wow, its very beautiful! It would be a perfect tank for shrimps (just kidding lol:) )

These are judt insanely cool!

1:34 I’ve never seen these pieces before!
Thanks for the comment! I think I first had them on the hovercraft set - 8824 from 1993!
Part No 70961 for the bumper itself!
Pure genius!
Thanks!
Bro had the rarest squid from a lego cargo leak which had the rarest legos
I misread the title as Lego water cannon, you should make one.
Looks a bit like Atlantica Super Splash from the Europa Park in Germany 😁😅
I did this years ago… but you did it better👏
loved it:D
Thanks!
That is so cool !!!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
More water and LEGOS W
Woll cool 😎 😎 😎

Appreciate it!
I will say this, it’s a bit unrealistic, most water coasters have a coaster section before the splash, so I’m. Still counting this as a flume.
