    Mr.Rajan is one of the potential human resources that India failed to utilize properly. Its all because of our damn politics. The world is seeing India as a highly qualified human resource exporter. And finally its our fate.

    Just listen again from 5:30
    Mr Rajan seems to know India so well from inside out.
    He simply have a ready road map for India growth....
    He clearly know very well where we are lagging and where we can and should prioritize...
    Such a clear mind and knowledge and we fired him...
    what a sad country...

    That's how a person becomes handsome and worth looking upto. Knowledge is the most beautiful thing and Rajan is a true image of how knowledge can give you power.
    Whereas India being a labour intensive economy not capital intensive so if we have to grow than govt should increase investment instead of hoarding money with them and promote people to invest in the market !

    One can certainly read the lines he spoke..THERE IS A CHANGE IN HIS TONE 👏 ...'certainly things are moving on now' , 'measures are in place and needs Implementation'. He is agreeing with the current Govt policies including De-Monetisation. It should be well understood by a literate rather an illiterate that 'CHANGE CAN NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT...IT'S A PROCESS OVER A PERIOD OF TIME'.

    • @karthik275
      @karthik275 6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Illiterate is added to your dictionary which already has anti nationals, patriotism etc ? He clearly says demonization and gst were shocks and were the stoppage for the growth ! The world is growing and India is lagging cos of the effects of demonization ! Even a layman can understand this !

    • @vinayasingh2683
      @vinayasingh2683 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      karthikm but even a layman can understand that he is saying that gst in longer term effect will be good one..

    • @wiseman8668
      @wiseman8668 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kash K it was just a balanced depiction by him, gst and demonetisation hindered the growth its true but at the same time it has long term benefits, specially gst. U only considered only one part.

    • @bandhabindaas
      @bandhabindaas 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      CHANGE is the MANTRA of current time & Initial step for REFORM (My understanding). It need not be underlined and be self understood that Reforms always need to be Refined over the time through mutual dialogue & consensus. NOTHING IS PERFECT.
      No doubt there should be Transperency in every Policy a Govt makes and should be questioned...Never Judge a book by its Cover. But at same time never Stop a CHANGE else System becomes OBSOLETE.

    Well said... The two shockwave(demonization & GST in very short intervals) created in last year n half has bought down the pace of growth that India was witnessing...
    Right now Job prospects in India is par low... Even though Govt departments have vacancies they have failed terribly to fill that which is also delaying many projects as there is huge crunch of man power in almost every Govt dept. Which further kill the prospect of Job in Private sectors too as they r interrelated...
    Its the duty of Govt as single party is in power at Centre & in as many as 19 states they should look into the matter with urgency even if their interest is in vote... People getting job can also vote the party in Power

    To those poster on the board who try to take every chance to politicize every matter. Off course Raghuram Rajan is a really smart person, he is an IIT and MIT alumni. Duvuri Subbarao took over as RBI Gov in 2008 (worst economic time) and GDP peaked to 10.3 in 2010 and 6.4 in 2013 when Subbarao left and Rajan stepped in. Rajan term GDP peaked to 8.0 2015 and down 7.1 when he left office. Therefore GDP growth is not expertise of 1 person or for that matter 1 single factor, if the monsoon is bad or crude oil shoots up or supply disruption a RBI governor by himself can not steer all the obstacle.
    But the term such as "only smart person, only knowlegeable on earth, if he had continued as governor of RBI India would have been a land of gold...." is very immature. BTW there is an old adage " An economist can be wrong 90% of the time and can still be called as an expert". So economist can only analyze and do a best probable predictive analysis but not create gold out of stone.

    His policies were average at best...not in line with India’s grand vision. Too focused on inflation. Even though bad debt and inflation were issues he should have lowered interest rates to spur small and medium industries.

    • @zahidraza8123
      @zahidraza8123 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      simply lowering rates does not boost investments..India is grappling with Twin balance sheet problem, and secular stagnation, where even if you lower the nominal interest rates, credit outflow does not increase much. These decisions are not as simple as u would like them to be, there are many tradeoffs that need to be factored in, so calling his policies average, is a very simplistic and childish way to go about it..

      Arjun Rawat...here from DCE I mean any institute in India... Because needed him but he went back to a capitalist nation to earn more... He gives so many speeches on India but don't want to work here....why only he wants the post of governor... There are many more important designations where he could have worked... We as a nation supported him so badly... We always appreciated his moves but unfortunately he went back... Speaking so much makes no meaning if you don't do anything for nation... It's my view
