But of course there's always the chance of him having JJ stop it at the last second despite the sound, to take the asspull and go the "It was a dream" way or to have JJ overpower his forehead and have it "spit out" all the lads who are miraculously alive still.

You have no idea how much it costs to make a well done anime. If you want average episode length of other series, 12 episodes and good animation, you're looking at several millions. Scriptwriting not included. That's a lot, even for the Sidemen. And they're not gonna make millions off it.

But he probably had months going into this project, and you're looking at a roughly 4 minute without - for the most part - commercial grade animation. It also uses quite a lot of still frames. If you want something like this professionally animated by a studio in a way that can rival actually sucessful series, you're looking at 20 to 100 bags at least for this length depending on the content. And if you want a proper series, you're looking at at least 10 to 12 episodes with at least 18 to 20 minutes in length. For that you'd look at a couple of millions. Again, not wanting to take anything away from him, he did incredible. Considering he did it all himself and isn't an experienced animator working for a studio, he did insanely well. But doing a full, proper series like this would take him alone several years of just working on it. People seriously underestimate how much work it is, how many ressources you need and how costly it gets if you want to have it done on a level of commercially sucessful anime. The Sidemen are a business group nowadays, and there's no way they would be able to make money with this. The one option they have would be an official mini-series done by this guy with some support, with them paying him, which would be a lot less than it would be for a studio as well as giving him exposure, the resume and the credit on a large scale. That would benefit both. Realistically, we could probably expect 5-6 5 minute episodes within a year. The problem with that is that it really doesn't work well with the algorithm and that spreading them out over the year this much might cause people to lose interest to some extent.
