      Even if you fell it wouldn't hurt more than falling off your chair. If you are still scared of falling off your chair, you can make some holders for the bike or add another roller. (I would go with the holders)

      Use a chair, sofa, etc to hold on to until you learn how to ride on them. It's always been like that with rollers.

      I think spinning the front wheel is required to gain gyroscopic effect which helps to balance bicycle.

      If the front wheel is fixed, then its not really that different from exercise bike where you simply pedal while sitting like an idiot. Bike roller on thw other hands imitate the feeling of cycling down the road,you can steer left and right like how you use your bike outside.

    The production quality on this was astounding. Really inspirational. As for getting on rollers, just place them against a wall. Makes things so much easier in the beginning. We feel unstable so we feel we're going to fall so that distracts us from just focusing on balancing. By leaning against one wall it builds confidence.

    I have a bike trainer and I still think rollers are the next best thing to riding a bike outside as far as realism is concerned. Just wary about the need to constantly balance yourself and not accidentally cause the bike to ride into a TV or window in front! But I'd still buy one rather than make one myself because of the parts and tools (and the expertise) required.

    Alternatively, just clamp down the front wheel and only have the rear wheel on the rollers if you want something safer.

      I was thinking the same thing or just extend the length of the frame out so that the center of gravity is inside the roller instead of on top. Maybe an inch or two would do the trick.

    I got to be honest we all love cycling videos this is just what I need to get it going the blood I love it. I always watch these before I go out and get my body moving. I love when I always watch one of these, and then put up my heavy playlist I love like Delta Parole and then I just go haaaaard!!!! Tactic hasnt let me down yet.

    Put a platform in the middle so you can put a foot down to "normal" road height.
    Use up your "spare" tyres too - rollers are hard on the rubber and tyres wear fast.
    Add some resistance else its just junk miles.

    Your bike seat is way too low. Your leg should have almost no bend at the bottom of your petal stroke.

      That's how cycle rollers are designed. People seem to do okay with them once they get comfortable with the ride feel.

    Вещь, да, хорошая, но есть еще такой фактор, как лобовое сопротивленя ветра. Если сделать регулируемое сопротивление с повышением скорости, то будет очень хороший тренажёр.
