added to favorites. had a rough time tonight in sparring cause I had 3 matches with my coach(as did everyone else); I only landed a handful of punches to his head that werent blocked or dodged, and some kicks to the body and leg. Meanwhile he battered my lead leg with leg kicks, and also landed more punches to my head than I landed on his(though not that much more, maybe 3 extra; my head defense has gotten very sharp even my coach has said so). I gotta work on my kick timing and also my kick checking(against high level opponents like my coach whose a pro fighter). My 4th sparring match was against a guy around my own level, lower than my level my close enough, and I "won" so to speak, landed much more blows than he did on me, and worked my defense well, though he gave me a very minor bloody nose(about two drops of blood that was it with a landed left hook that I didnt block/dodge in time; I didnt notice it had a minor bleed until after the sparring match was over and one of my buddies pointed it out, and I just wiped it off with a rag and was good to go). I landed many more shots to his face/head amd legs/body than he to me, though.
Anyways theres a competition coming up, a Knockout muay thai competition and Im excited for it! Its on the 15th of next month(or is it the month after?) so I expect training to be have far more sparring from now on until the end of the competition(like it was today; we did 4 sparring matches per guy instead of 2 sparring matches per guy like is usual).

What do you mean with: "caridge block left hook" ? In drill no. 8.
Could you pleas extend on that?
Already thank you for the video! To see the evidence in sparring and fights is really convincing!!

Caridge block is another name for shelling up and blocking the left hook (like your using your left hand to comb your hair back over your ear)

Not sure if that's correct but I think you have the habit of dropping your left leg when landing that back up cross at 5:08
Overall I love the vid, thanks a ton! ^^

I think the music in this Chan drill was great. Much better than rap.
