What I've experienced with shoes to skate in or what I liked was being able to feel the floor, like the tiniest rock. That made feeling the concave and controlling the board better. A million years ago I had Natas shoes and they were the worst.
That is a good thing for board feel but they ended up wearing out too quick to the point i felt like I was skating barefoot. Definitely not good if you want to skate big drops because these shoes would be horrible for taking impact
Off topic, but what kind of black pants are you rocking? Fit looks good, I've been having a hard time finding a go-to pant after Active stopped making their Federal model a few years ago.

the bottom of the sole front by the ball of the foot definitely wears out way too quickly, and i wish they would make them in a wide, otherwise one of my fave skate shoes
@LeonPaxton yup, was corroborating what you said in this vid. there are so many great things about these shoes, almost everything, if they could just work on reinforcing that area, and making them in a wide (as NB so often does with their shoes), trying to get the word out, squeaky wheel!
By the time I was warmed up the shoes felt perfectly worn in man so not long at all he only problem was the thin sole of the shoe so the more skated these, the more worn out and thin the sole got and ended up being painful for the bottom of my feet 👎🏽
@@LeonPaxton I’ve been wearing them around for 3 days haven’t skated but they feel weird like my toes kind of feel squashed in one of them and the material feels very stiff
@@dylanlewis3668 Damn that's weird, I've got pretty wide feet and that didn't happen to me 🤔 I didn't wear them around first though. I microwaved them for 60secs and then started skating in them straight away so maybe that's why mine loosened up and wore in so fast but I do that with every new pair of shoes that I get 👌🏼

been skating this shoe for a month now i gotta say these are some of the worst shoes i’ve ever skated in first of all your feet will hurt while even walking in the shoes while skating it’s even worse next no matter how tight i tie these they always come loose the lack of support in these shoes is just awful i really wanted to like these too since they do look nice
Went from my all time favorite shoe (NB 255) to these, probably the worst shoe I've ever skated, due entirely to the thin outsole. These should not be manufactured in size 14. Rest of the shoe seems great.

Grew up skating with foy in Deerfield and city streets skate park crazy to see him turn pro and have all the success

I think they fit true to size man so there would be no need to go up to 11 unless you just want a little bit more room in your shoe

After skating these for a few weeks I found the same thing! The sole of the shoe wears out so fast and feels like you're walking barefoot 🙄
