That 'I agree with Piers' moment has happened DOZENS of times recently. I don't know what's happened to him but he's spitting pure truth lately.
Either he's actually turned into a decent human being who's good at scrutinising the government and a bit less of a prick than before or... no, that's just what happened, Piers is still a prick but the only difference is that all of this has shown that he is not as much of a prick as we all thought.
He's still a prick for voting for Boris just to uphold a precendent for democracy even though a lot of evidence says going down that route will probs lead to the economy going bad (which the tories will blame entirely on the coronavirus now) and he's still a prick for always poking at young people for being 'millenials' and claiming that we're all snowflakes.
He's a populist twat who spouts the argument that will get the biggest reaction. He doesn't care if it's positive or negative, watch him at the next general election saying how it was Labour's fault so many people died because they opposed the government's ideas

It could have been a hell of a lot worse, had Labour won the election and borrowed the largest amount of cash ever seen in peace time as it promised and then fast forward a few months and then have to borrow an extra 60 billion each month on top to support the country during this virus this country would be on its knees for generations to come paying high taxes and suffering cuts for eternity.
