We return to "Silver River" and it lived up to it's name once again! This ended up being our last water hunt of 2023. Mark and I decided to hit our HOT river site that we have been pounding. We wanted our best odds for the day. The water was Cold and the wind didn't help. That didn't stop us from having a great day! We both found Old Silver coins. I found a silver that I've never found in the water. It was a great way to end water season.
I got a new 5x10" coil for this years water season: shrsl.com/42vop
I hope to get in between more iron and discover more treasure. So far I love it!

I hope the rest of the boys join in with the hunts during the fall and winter . I miss the three B's. Brad, Bobby and Bill.
Me too!
@@thehooverboysme too!!
Me to…
Me Three❕
Agreed!!
Finally found my white whale in Tennessee. 1856 O seated quarter.
So awesome thanks
Our pleasure!
When you are old and reminiscing about the places you went when you were younger it's going to sound like a boys own adventure story with places like the Silver River. Love from England xx
Indian head burial ground is another one. Lol
Heck yeah! Can't wait to relive these places
@@thehooverboysi understand you'd be thrilled to look back and reminisce, but im flippin stoked for many years of detecting and fishing adventures yet. Mental Health Days keep the doctor away brother, keep on keepin' on.
@andyanderson2143 thanks Andy! I appreciate the duel support
Really nice bunch of finds, especially the silvers- love the trime- been at it for 32+ years, never found a 3-center of either type. Well done, men!
Much appreciated! I hope you get one. I love them!
3 Trimes the charm.
And back to terra firma. Can't wait to see what those bring. Nice finds gents.
Kurt and Muckboots ,,, and the trustee Equinox's ,,, smashing out the tiny silvers,,, well done guys,, you aint missing much ,,, if you are finding those little beauties... awesome man! i love these river hunts,,, but wait until you guys get back in the fields...i SMELL gold coming,,, all the way over here in the UK lol.. good luck men. I recently found a Julius Caesar 'elephant and snake-type silver Roman Denarius..... from ad43 (Julius Caesar minted them for his soldiers,,, during the invasion of Britain.,, currently with the British Museum. That coin made my year!. it's you guys,, whom I've followed for years now,,, that inspire me to go out hunting. it's so much fun and when you find that special coin or relic,,, it makes life much better.
Much appreciated!
Another awesome hunt at Silver River! I'd love to know what's waiting for you in the deeper water, but unless you get some wet suits, I guess we'll have to wait until next summer. :) Thanks for posting!
I'm still in shock that you haven't found gold coinsc there yet, I guess they are deeper than the lighter coins.
Kurt out here laughing like curly from the 3 stooges! 😂 Love this channel
Somebody spiked your spot with pocket change!
shouldnt you say native american head coin by now? ;P
"Waters getting pretty chilly" then proceeds to wear blue jeans while wading around lol.
Your clapping when you found that silver cracked me up! You dropped the pinpointer like a "mic drop" too. Hahaha
Haha!
At least the rest of the coins didn't have hair on them. I can't believe you kissed an indian-penny with an old hair attached. Gross! 🤣
I called that 1964 quarter ...I was shoked when you said what it was. That 65 is my borth year. Wi ked cool finds in that river .. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing all the guys
I think you had an Amazing Day!!! You found some way way way cool stuff!!! Thank you for making my Wednesday Great!!! God Bless Us All!!!
MUCKS INDIAN WAS ELECTROPLATED I FOUND ONE THE SAME PEOPLE WEAR THEM WHEN THEY CANT AFFORD A $2.5 or $5 for ring
I'd love to get a better idea of how your scoop handle works, is that a DIY? I have the same scoop but use a standard scoop handle, why is yours a PVC pipe?
It's light, it's cheap, it floats...can make it any size length...
@@finderskeepers6684 yup^^
Kurt and Muck, I suppose we'll have to find you two some
wet suits to extend your season..... naaa wait for next summer.
Nice "last of summer river hunts" finds! I like your 1st river trime! Congrats! Rk.
You need to try a large coil. Get a wet suit, get back out there. Wave a 1 dollar gold over the coil , just to see if you're picking them up.
It kinna looked like the 1964 quarter is a type b if so that coin could be worth $50 check on that lemme know
Nice finds! Interesting yesterday the Scottish detectorist found a Canadian Victoria (or Elizabeth), and here you did too! His first.
Kirk you know brother if you want to find the gold you have to get Brad on it. God bless you and your family my friend.
I believe that canadian coin is .925 . I think it's the silver before 1920 ish is sterling
Great video as always. Thank you. Just have to say I thank you as do my children and grandchildren for actually cleaning up our waterways as well as hunting. Always a pleasure
Fishscales are my favorite to find up here in canada. Looking for the legendary 1921.
Kurt did you ever get a definitive ID on that possible British regimental button you found a few weeks ago?
Nothing concrete
Hey right on time I take lunch at eleven and watch your treasure hunt. Yep nothing worse than cold water and wind
Elderly silver is always the bomb!!!! Peace and good signals!!!!
Remember that there were a few 1965 silver quarters minted by accident.
Seeing the bell makes me think that this was a site that a boat burned. That looks like one of the bells on a tugboat. Just some food for thought.
Thanks guys for another great hunt wish bobby would come out join you
Would've been kinda cool to keep the shell & display the wheatie in the shell.
The bell and that 1858-1901 canadian cent are super cool
great finds yet again maybe the gold is on the river bank...lol
Hi guys, lots of buttons, nice coins ,congratulations on your trime
Such a shame it's getting too cold for river hunting.
Yep hit a 1963 on a beach by me been awhile
Gold will sink deeper.
If you need help finding it let me know!
Nice diggin' guys....Love those trimes....👍
Why are there so many coins in the river there ? Was there a warf or town there ?
THB4LIFE
Yes, Timmy hates Bootsy for life.
Super Cool Heros in a Half Shell
I wonder if there some deeper targets evading you?
my right ear really enjoyed the closeups :)
My day can now start!
My first of two silver quarters this year was a dateless SLQ the second was a MS 64 quarter. Still looking for gold myself.
Trime time! I need to start digging more 15 signals.
They kept their gold in stronger pockets!!
Hudson Bay company button maybe??🧐🤔
Deep and Cold = Shrinkage 😂😂😂😂😂
👉🇺🇸👈👉⚰👈
Thats funny!!! I got a W&M too on sunday!!! the litle hair tie is only thing left!! 1736 half reale too...love your video's Kurt keep them coming
Awesome! Congrats
I find a lot... I really do. Not complaining. But you guys find more. I think it's at least in part due to a larger population early on. Up here in SW NH, there was basically no European settlements here until the 1750's and they remained small for a long time.
Great area!
The river spot that just keeps on giving! Lucky the people who used that river crossing apparently were klutzy and had butterfingers!
I have been enjoying you water detecting videos. I'm very sorry about the loss of your
Brothers in the Baltimore fire department.
Much appreciated
Oh so funny.... the F.U. mint mark.
18:55 i was lucky enough to find a holed fish scale
Congrats Guys on the last water hunt. 👊
That spot is awesome. Muck Congrats on the Silver Fish Scale love the Bell also. Kurt Congrats on the Trime. A Bucket Lister for me still. The Flower Button and Lead Button very nice. The Shoe Buckle very Ornate and Beautiful. Love all the Relics IHPs and Coppers. Take Care guys
Always appreciated!
You gotta bring back Bobby button please!!!! Congrats kurt on your forever river trime
I agree!
Good afternoon from Shreveport Louisiana. I bet the water is getting cold
Morning!
Your Trime wins the day Kurt.
I'll be glad when the water gets too cold and yall can get back on land.
How is there so many coins in the river? I know people didn't lose that many in the water.
Because you were there 160 years ago and know that there was nothing there, right? Swim hole? Boat dock? Water crossing? Yeah, there is no way those coins could be there. You think these guys farm their coins until they look old enough to find? Stop doubting & start searching because if YOU don't find it, eventually someone else will. Good Luck.
Who finds a wheaty on a half shell😂 Silver river loves you guys, stay blessed guys ❤
Hahaha
The hair was on the back don’t tell me you never kissed a girl with a hairy back side ❤😂
Tehe!
Will tune back in once you hit solid ground.
Next week! Thanks
Who's the dunce that was out there dropping all the taco money???
Haha!
Glad you got that trime
When you find something, do you check to see if there is anything else in your scooped pile?
Absolutely
Nice Dig & a Trime to BooT! :) Cheers JJ
Love my Wednesday mornings! Thanks for making some fantastic content for us to enjoy!!
Thank you for the support!
Whoop Whoop!
You should have kissed the trime!
👍👍👍😁
Hello Hoover Boys
This river was full of good stuff and great finds for sure. Happy digging and have a terrific day
You DAWG 😂
Trime in the water! Nice!
I'm not into the shoe buckle frames, but that was a fancy one.
I'm really surprised you guys didn't find any gold. Do you guys have that very expensive detector you took to England?
Thanks for sharing your adventure. 👍
You guys are unbelievable!! ,can't believe your still married..lol I didn't get out nearly as much as I wanted and still got evicted 😢..props to finding history with love!
Hi Kurt & the Hoover Boys,
I've been watching some of your older videos lately.
You've had some great permissions in the past wich kept on giving relentlessly.
Some of them might have gotten deep-plought meanwhile, do you plan on returning to some of them in the future?
Your colonial tavern wich produced dozens of coppers, the model 1810 belt plate farm, the flowing hair ½ Dime / 1877 Indian pwrmission and the field where you found your countermarked "C*NT Cent" to just name a few of them - do you think they still might have potential?
In my area there is a small park wich still keeps giving us coins and silver jewellery from different centuries even after our 50th visit. Every time we though that we had pounded it to death a new very good find popped up and kept us motivated, weather it be a gold ring, a silver coin or a very old one....
Also, it might be interesting to return to the river site where you found all the 1700's mouth blown bottles when the water gets warm enough again next season. If you could convince Billy Bottles to come with you this might turn out to be a very interesting adventure.
Nice
Fun!
Boy oh boy! You've come a long way from that first trime you found. The "Two Trip Trime" I like to call it. You really worked for that one. Good times!
What brand and model of scoop are you using? Is your handle PVC? Where can I buy the scoop and the handle midway up please? All the scoops I'm looking at don't seem as solid as yours especially where the handle attaches. Thank you
I just wanted to say thank you guys.i am in Canada and I love your videos. I wish one day I could hunt with you guys.Godbless you guys. All holes matter. 😊
In my experience, when you dig 64' silver coins, they're in really good shape because they most likely got dropped in 64.
Awesome hunt. Congratulations. Love that shoe buckle. Thanks for sharing!!!
I have a 900 and boy does it ever find nice stuff.
Awesome!
Brad from Green Mountain talks about fish scales occasionally.
Great video guys. Really enjoyed this one especially all cool relics and coins. Congrats Kurt finding the river trime thats one of many coins on my bucket list still. But you inspire me to possibly do some river hunting in my case shallow river hunting.
Well this epsiode you was TRImin to find Gold , I have the sense of humor of a 70 year olde man , cheers boys good on ya , alway rootin for gold dig that FOIL
That is one crazy site. You need an insulated diving suit or something. Plus a wheatie on the half shell, amazing. Got to be some gold there. You've found everything else. Thanks!
I know I've said it before and I'll say it again. The trime is my favorite US coin! I live in Canada so seeing the fish scale was really cool!! Great way to end the water hunting season!
Nice last river hunt.
Found one of your coins over on one of our fields here in Kent, England, a 1/4 real from mexico, a castle, lion type. It had been turned into a button at some point.
The river that keeps on giving. Really nice variety of Silver. Def getting a bit cold in the water now. Time to bundle up and hit the fields.
Found a '65 rosie yesterday and a '65 quarter today. Those f u coins really do suck...
How much items or what can you purchase back in those days with a simple coin? Two pints or half pints?
