Bridge is Big Brother. DEI is their motto. BlackRock and co. are their Financial Department. Just like Oceania circa 1984. D = Discriminate E = Exclude I = then Ignore the people who calls you out on the hypocrisy
I just saw a veritas topic that shows what DEI does, it basically boils down that, it is used to create a cultural segregation based on gender, race, spectrum and orientation, which makes excuses for people to be unapologetically terminal like back in the 30s-40s, why does everything need to be a message or an insult ? I find it apalling that we are falling back in mutual understanding Also Ubisoft deserves the biggest wallet spank of the year, for being unapologetically gaslighting
Well since they are SOOOO open about creativity and stuff, then unisoft and their lapdogs would not mind any mod, that changes yasuke in to someone else right? Right?
There was a Japanese tradition that existed during the time period that this joke of a game takes place in. Every single Ubisoft "person" and all of their "consultants" should do that...traditiohnal thing now. Well...Ubisoft and their buddies are not Japanese, but we'll all be happy that "they" are not wasting our air any more.
Hmm, they have a history eh? Maybe we should change their history? For example, UBISOFT were founded by the Emperor of Moron land in the 1500's, and has ruled it ever since with an iron donkey named Harry. LOL Please insert a better story below.
I lost respect for Ubisoft when the stopped making 'Rayman' games, and for 'Turtles In Time: Reshelled'. Congratulations, Ubisoft. You made your first 'blaxploitation' game.
"Dear Japanese. We respect your country a lot. But we're also gonna slap a black man as a lead samurai character and offer gay romance options for him. And no, it's not cultural appropriation, not according to our NOT-SO-SHADY-CONTROVERSIAL sources (from the associate professor who made up an entire fanfiction book about Yasuke and is now in hiding after being called out for his lies, to the OTHER associate professor who wrote an entire book validating pedos in Japan as a means of showing how 'progressive' Japan has been). This is a game that's not based on reality. However, we're gonna enforce real-life DEI expectations on this game anyway - hence why this game NEEDS a black samurai and gay relationship options. Anyway. No hard feelings, Japan.' - Sincerely, Ubisoft I can't help but wonder WHY even put a black samurai as the lead at all if historical accuracy doesn't matter? Ubisoft is talking out of both sides of their mouth here. It claims this isn't about historical accuracies and just wants to be about pure entertainment. Yet, it chooses to DIE on this hill of Yasuke being everything that inaccurate book claimed him to be. So apparently, historical accuracy does matter... provided it matters to THEM. Also, considering it is those very collaborators that have enabled places like Ubisoft to continue distorting history to push out agendas, those collaborators are indeed FAIR GAME for criticism. That goes double for those whose work hve not been properly peered reviewed OR contains many blaring inaccuracies. I don't get how Ubisoft gets to stand there and tell us 'please don't go after these collaborators' when these disgusting deceitful collaborators have been allowed to revise history (especially to serve specific DEI agendas) with impunity thus far.
Wondering if we the fans should 1.) stop funding game companies because I find them annoying in return 2.) come together and figure out how to make video games, then just make the video games they won't, hell I'm poor I'm willing to make the money they dont want

They didn‘t even mentioned their decision about the hip hop edm battle theme when playing yasuke.
Ubi just needs to fire EVERYONE that works for them and close their doors, they will NEVER again make a good game!!
Time 7:33 "We want to put this game in your hands and beyond." - paraphrased.
Beyond?
So....
They want to start esploring space and the planet Uranus?
No you start out by saying " To the esteemed People of Japan" not "Japanese community". They are a country and a people. You wouldn't say "to the esteemed American community" no you say " to the esteemed people of the United States of America" (or just United States).
It's a matter of respect and that's something they clearly didn't have.
Tired of ☻
Bridge is Big Brother. DEI is their motto. BlackRock and co. are their Financial Department. Just like Oceania circa 1984.
D = Discriminate
E = Exclude
I = then Ignore the people who calls you out on the hypocrisy
I just saw a veritas topic that shows what DEI does, it basically boils down that, it is used to create a cultural segregation based on gender, race, spectrum and orientation, which makes excuses for people to be unapologetically terminal like back in the 30s-40s, why does everything need to be a message or an insult ?
I find it apalling that we are falling back in mutual understanding
Also Ubisoft deserves the biggest wallet spank of the year, for being unapologetically gaslighting
They're not sorry for their mistakes, they're sorry they got caught.
They've been exposing more of their BS and they just treat gamers like dumb consumers. Not buying their shit clearly sends the message.
Every time Ubisoft take step, things get ugly as hell, not easy to screw up like this even if you intended to do so...
Well since they are SOOOO open about creativity and stuff, then unisoft and their lapdogs would not mind any mod, that changes yasuke in to someone else right? Right?
Ubisoft > how to tell us they are going to lose so much money > with that non apology.
Enjoy your books just backed your Kickstarter
Its barely AN apology.
and all the experts saying that Yasuke era samurai are lying and have already been kicked and fired from their jobs.
Ubisoft's hibbity jibbity squirrel talk won't work on the Japanese.
That thumbnail is gold! Well, rainbow, but you get the point!
There was a Japanese tradition that existed during the time period that this joke of a game takes place in.
This particular traditionwas used by Japanese people who were deeply shamed and wanted to atone for it.
Every single Ubisoft "person" and all of their "consultants" should do that...traditiohnal thing now.
Well...Ubisoft and their buddies are not Japanese, but we'll all be happy that "they" are not wasting our air any more.
Man that video thumbnail is crazy hilarious! 🤣
Anyway. No hard feelings, Japan.' - Sincerely, Ubisoft
I can't help but wonder WHY even put a black samurai as the lead at all if historical accuracy doesn't matter?
I don't get how Ubisoft gets to stand there and tell us 'please don't go after these collaborators' when these disgusting deceitful collaborators have been allowed to revise history (especially to serve specific DEI agendas) with impunity thus far.
time to dust off my pirate hat and eye patch for this game.

Wondering if we the fans should 1.) stop funding game companies because I find them annoying in return 2.) come together and figure out how to make video games, then just make the video games they won't, hell I'm poor I'm willing to make the money they dont want
So sad to see this company fall to shit. But can't go much further than black flag. Everything was turning at that point.
This apology looks like Chat GPT generated.
Remember when in the japanese game Sekiro, the main character in the feudal Japan setting was a japanese samurai?
They should have made the main character Japanese if they wanted compelling fiction set in feudal Japan. But nooooooooooo! They have to insult and infect Japanese culture with this DEI BS. Duck you Ubisoft.
You know you've Modern Audience screwed up when your customers move from 'we're not buying the game' to 'we'll make sure your game fails'.
they have removed crossbows from an older game purely because it wasnt historically accurate, thats how much they used to strive to be historically accurate
May Ubisoft be a lesson to other companies. The majority of players are normal people, they don't like this dumb agenda.
And no one complained ninja América,White 😂😂😂😂
They can't make an Assassin's Creed game in central afrika because that place is such a shit-hole, they can't even afford to build towers from which to synchronize from. All they can do are 2 meter huts made of mud, hay and camel shit.
they expected the Japanese to all bow is repectaru
