I have been teaching at native camp for 4 years now. The remuneration depends on some key factors. We have booked lessons and sudden lessons. Booked lessons pay more than sudden lessons. Booked lessons for native speakers is up to $9 for 25min and for non-native, the highest is $2.17 for 25min. sudden lessons for natives is about $3 for 25min and $1.54 for non-natives.
This is a very informative response, thank you so much. There have been some questions about payment disparities and I am not best suited to explain them, so this breakdown is much appreciated ♥️
please I'm from Cameroon and I just recently got my tutor account activated. we speak English and French and i was wondering if my country is on list of English native speakers to have the payment advantages.
Is there a surplus of students? Do teachers wait all day on standby to get one sudden client? How many students a day does a native speaker get on average if he commits ? So many questions 😂
I am not sure if I fully understand the question, but students are not guaranteed and when you are new on the platform you will mostly be on standby to accept live requests from students who don’t have a specific teacher that they prefer. So it takes some patience to build a steady list of regular students 🥹
Hi there. Working hours are flexible as classes are not allocated or guaranteed. You need to log in and open your availability, then wait for students to pick your profile for immediate classes while you are waiting online. They call these "standby lessons". I hope this makes sense 🥹 I am not sure about the hourly rates, please confirm on the website ✨️
No, I haven't opened any slots yet. They did send an email saying that I should start as soon as possible and offered an incentive. Not sure about this platform...so I'm still weighing it up.
I'm sorry to hear that sis. I am glad they give a second opportunity and I am sure you have also realized some of your mistakes, so you will ace it the second time around 😀 🥰
@@ladybug4499 I aced the demo lesson and all other steps. I'm on the last step and the only thing I'm struggling with is uploading a video, my video turns into an audio after uploading it 🥲
Yes, in the demo, you need to stick to the provided lesson script. What's amazing about Native Camp is that the lessons are scripted, and lesson plans are already available on the platform. You need to watch the 3 videos that show you how to handle each stage of the lesson and do exactly what's shown on the videos in your demo 😉
Hi thanks for the informative video. I recently found out that Native Camp's payment options are only through PDI or BDM which are Indian and Philippine based banks respectively. If you're planning on teaching online while living in South Africa ,how do you actually set up an account online to recieve that money?
Hi there. You need to create a Payoneer account to receive payment from Native Camp if you are not in the Philippines. This account will be linked to your bank account, Payoneer will do a verification of your bank account details. Unfortunately however, you will only be able to cash out or withdraw funds from your account when they get to at least $100.
Oh no, I am so sorry about that 😮💨 As far as I know, a passport is the only confirmation of identity that they accept because they are an international company and they cannot verify the authenticity of your national ID
Hi, once you completed the application and got accepted. Do they ask you to send an image of your passport as part of the verification process? I recently got accepted and i am stuck at this aspect of my application process.
Hi there. Unfortunately, a passport is the only verification of identity that they seem to be accepting. As an international company, it would be hard for them to confirm the validity of your national ID.
Hi there! Student bookings will depend on how many students view and like your profile. The good news is, there are also standby lessons where you just log into the platform and wait for students who are looking for teachers to do an immediate lesson with them.
Once you are approved, students will view your profile and book lessons with you. If you have no booked lessons in the beginning, you can do stand-by lessons, which just means logging in to the platform and making yourself available to students who need a teacher immediately
I should have clarified that everyone starts off at around $2, not just South Africans. $9 per hour is the max someone can get once they qualify for all the bonuses after teaching for some time on the platform.
I see you’ve passed the test. Does this mean you can do teaching online as a side hustle while you work in Korea? Asking for myself 😊Great video!! Thank you
I just have one question how long is the native camp application process my profile has been approved and I have submitted my Passport a week ago how long does it take
You open your availability and some students will book once they know you, but in the beginning stages you just log on and wait for available students to pick you on the spot when you are online. If they don't pick you, then you don't get to teach 😬

Hi Zizo, so I'm just starting out, can I open 3 hours and just wait? They also sent me email about free tag and incentive bonus. I'm a little confused. When you startout do you just open the slots and wait? By hourly rate, I mean how much in USD per hour for each lesson or is this dependant on learner ratings?

Hello Nuaym. I am sorry to hear that getting students has been really hard for you, I think platforms such as Native Camp and Preply have become really saturated over the years with a surplus of teachers. I think it's easier to get a job and teach immediately on platforms which require a university degree, or platforms based in South Africa. Let me send you a link to one called The Faculty, with just a matric certificate you can teach here.

Do we need to use the beauty app to get students? I see in SA the beauty app can not be downloaded in our region.
I am not sure if using the app gives us students, but I can also confirm that even on my side I couldn't download the beauty app 😕

Hey Anele. You don't need an S.A. bank because Native Camp makes payouts using a platform called Payoneer. It's similar to PayPal
