Thats a really healthy head of hair but is there a difference between moisturizing and oiling? isn’t there something as too much oils ... coz I’ve heard that we need to avoid heavy oils on our hair .
Yes sis,there's a difference between moisturizing and oiling. Moisturizing is hydrating your hair ( with a water based product like water, livein conditioner, aloe juice or combo )and then sealing it with an oil or butter so that the moisture is retained for much longer. Oiling your scalp is ok as long as you dont overdo it. Some people dont tolerate it though, scalp will itchy and flaky. It all depends on the person. And yes,the kind of products you use to moisturize depend on your hair type..for example if your hair is fine, you what to avoid too much of heavy butters because it will weigh it down.
