A couple other things about right side solo: the barrels and rooftop being so close to the guardian means you're less likely to lose creeps while pressured due to falloff+ammo. It also makes it easier to freeze lane without getting poked out. There's also a jump pad you can use to make ganking into the duo lane more viable.
One thing to note about weak side (on the inner lanes) that is specific to Viscous: he has a very easy, VERY FAST puddle punch route to gank the outer lane (we're talking 4 seconds at the SLOWEST). This is why I tend to prefer the weak side when I get a Viscous queue. Dope vid!
@@EmDubya1 Idk if there's a vid on youtube but its been posted to the viscous discord before. You know how the weak side has that small wall in the middle of the lane next to the stairs leading up to the guardian? You puddle punch of the side of that wall while dashing and do a bit of a strafe and sliding and you make it to the other lane.
Oh nice, I had been wondering what y'all were referring to when discussing 'strong side weak side' in your scrim and tourney streams. This explains a lot
Right side duo lanes also get the jump vent which just makes it even better, I main lash and its won me so many laning phases by just abusing the vent+slam
Sapphire yellow (right side) is actually worse than Amber purple because of the low cieling in the nearby t2 camp. Lash on that has a harder time killing the camp because the cieling is so low compared to the building on purple where the cieling is really high up and he can wall jump up and basically one shot the t1s
I've always preferred playing left side solo lane. That covered stairway is more useful for heroes trying to push in than heroes trying to defend imo, and having more space means having less cover. The barrels are very nice when you're on the right side, but idk if it makes up for the many advantages of left side solo
I agree totally on the duo segment but calling the sidelines with the camp weakside just feels weird to me, the camp is definitely a bigger advantage than that room with the stairs
strong side veil becomes a weakness when you're under guardian, very easy for attackers to flank with it. weak side veil is not very good for attackers. also strong side medium neutral area is another advantageous area for attackers, they can easily get behind your guardian. so strong side is really only good if you're aggressive.
If you have your weak heroe left side doesn't that just give the opponents even more advantage on that side? Why not have stronger heroes left side to counter the disadvantage? Not saying you're wrong, im sure you're not, just curious what the logic is
You only talk about camps, but not golden statues. Collecting several buffs is better than a 150 soul camp. How about how one side gets a single gold statue in their right t2 camp and the other side only gets 1 in their t2 camp.

Also, weak side has shorter zip line to base for faster healing runs or post-death comeback

What is the route?

@@EmDubya1 What LVL1024 said, look up viscous puddle punch routes and you're bound to find it.
I'm just here for the new cute Ivys.
I watched this video and went from Initiate to Eternus.
P.S. Thanks for lending me your Bugatti.

He's talking about all heroes lol, also lash can just do it from outside
It's a concept similar to Dota's safe lane / hard lane. I always enjoyed being the offlaner, but there's not much advantage to it in Deadlock.

Im boutta deadlock
have been notice about these small things but don't really know what could happen to the laning phase ://
thoughts on the ease of ganking from right solo to right duo?
It's easier for the duo to gank the solo since someone can hold the lane
but the jump pad on the right solo lane is super tempting :(

You can draft characters on the weak side that are good at anti dive/anti engage like ivy with her strong waveclear and stone form antidive
