This only applies to if it's read aloud to you, not if it's written. Written form equations are the opposite and are always using pemdas unless additional instruction is given. So in this case, you would answer as it's read aloud to you, "10-6=4+2=6/3=2." You can actually demonstrate this if you use a calculator or calculator app. Type "10-6" into the calculator, hit enter, it should give you 4. Now without typing anything else, either insert "Ans" or it will do it automatically if you just type "+2" then hit enter again, this uses your previous answer, which was 4 and adds 2 for this equation. Now that you have a new Ans, 6, divide that by 3 ("/3") and you'll get 2. You would usually use this method on a calculator to answer a line of equations in a row using the previous answer or something like this, where you're told an equation verbally (especially in accounting, like the context suggests, where it's usually a bunch of simple math in order with multiple equations in a line to solve).

So everytime he would take out his sandbag chrildren from all over germany would close their eyes so they don't get sleepy and have to go to bed. Tbh I allways found the puppets and the fact that the characters don't talk pretty disturbing but it was overall a pretty simple and cute tv show.
