hi Carrie i am following you and i have also started mine last month but they look same size as yours mine are Salvia patens, pure blue gentian sage ,would you say they are the same as yours ?
Hi, I grew that variety before they are a beautiful blue but they are different than the variety that I am growing here. However the growing requirements are the same. I hope that helps you.
@@carriesgardeningchannel856 ok thanks for your reply and i love how you get any plant to grow from seed so watching closely to see if i can do same :)
Sorry what did you say . you did something to the seeds for two weeks and out the seeds in a ziplock bag ? Do you mean you put the seeds in the fridge in a ziplock bag ? I want to know how easy it is to grow Perennial Salvia from seed. TY
Hi Cindy, Mine are growing. I just posted a video for them th-cam.com/video/6Tl8s7mcVMQ/w-d-xo.html Pansy seeds can take 7 - 21 days to germinate. I would give them some more time. Some varieties germinate faster than others. I hope this helps you!
Thank you, finally a video on what seed looks like and how to plant.
You're welcome! I am happy to hear that the video helped you!

You put the seeds in the refrigerator in a sealed ziplock bag 2 weeks before sowing them. To me it's an easy plant to start from seed. You're welcome.
Hi Carrie. Sorry this is off topic, but I planted Frizzle Sizzle pansy seeds Dec. 19th and haven't seen any germination. How did yours do?
