hi silent watcher here !! i felt like i had to comment because you mentioned one of my favorite movies, about time & i wanted to share my story with that movie. i was 16, i had just gotten out of the mental hospital for the first time & trying to just piece my life back together i started watching rom coms cause they’re comforting. and i found about time. and if you’ve seen it, you get it, something about that movie changed something in me. like i felt this switch of “this is it, this is life, and even the smallest things can be beautiful” i continued to severely struggle with my mental health years after that, but now im 20. my life is honestly kinda boring, but it’s beautiful. ive been noticing myself thinking about that movie a lot, and i think maybe now that so much has happened, good & bad, it might hit even harder than it did when i was 16. + my dad has passed away since then, and i think i just need to see his story with his dad and honestly have a good cry. so anyways, i LOVE that movie and im glad it’s being talked about ! i love your videos :) i put them on everyday after work while doing some chores and its just nice & cozy 🌙🤍

I’m not necessarily a silent viewer as I’ve commented a few times before but I wanted to let you know how much your videos mean to me anyway. The way you talked about the about time movie (amazing btw) is how I tell my friends about how your videos impacted me. I’ve watched since your very first video “series to binge during quarantine”, loved the book content but stayed for you and your vibe. I always think about this thing you posted sometime in the summer from your journal where you wrote “you cant say it’s the best day of my life everyday” and then you go and say why not and list all these beautiful small things that we do have everyday and just never appreciate. I think about that daily.

i’ve been a silent supporter since 2020.(this will sound cheesy and dramatic sorry in advance) you’re content has been such a relief to watch especially after a hard day. there have been days when I’ve been surrounded by so much hatred and you just being yourself makes those days better, and reminds me of the good. the way you live your life has genuinely inspired me a lot and has made me a lighter person. seeing who you are and your friendships with other people like kylie has made me want to surround myself with better people who make me feel good and not people who make me feel stupid for being excited or bad about being who I am.

I love that you talked about romanticizing your life and making the most out of any situation. My birthday is this week and I was stalking the weather forecasts. I mentioned that there is a chance of rain and a cold front and that made me happy….since then the chance of rain is 100% and a cold front. I’m in the South too so “cold front” is a relative term but just enough with the rain to have a cozy bookish day with my Advent calendar of Bird and Blend tea and a holiday candle. Perfection.

also, not sure if you guys have seen It’s A Wonderful Life but that movie changed my life in almost the same way as About Time
hi silent watcher here !! i felt like i had to comment because you mentioned one of my favorite movies, about time & i wanted to share my story with that movie. i was 16, i had just gotten out of the mental hospital for the first time & trying to just piece my life back together i started watching rom coms cause they’re comforting. and i found about time. and if you’ve seen it, you get it, something about that movie changed something in me. like i felt this switch of “this is it, this is life, and even the smallest things can be beautiful”
i continued to severely struggle with my mental health years after that, but now im 20. my life is honestly kinda boring, but it’s beautiful. ive been noticing myself thinking about that movie a lot, and i think maybe now that so much has happened, good & bad, it might hit even harder than it did when i was 16. + my dad has passed away since then, and i think i just need to see his story with his dad and honestly have a good cry.
so anyways, i LOVE that movie and im glad it’s being talked about !
