For me, this Direct was good because there was something in here for everybody. There are plenty of people who really dig super monkey ball remastered as well as people who don’t, there are people who are SUPER HYPED over the fact that the 2D Metroid series finally has a new installment that’s a continuation of Fusion, and there are some people like Max for example that’s like “Oh cool. It’s not Prime 4 but I’ll take it I guess”. There are people who don’t give a shit about Advance Wars and other people who are stoked to see it, there are people who don’t care about Warioware and people who are happy to finally see an installment on Switch. Just to clarify Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water isn't just coming to the Switch but also PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S, and PC. Nintendo gave the series back to Koei Tecmo I believe.
Thank goodness. Nintendo sat on this IP for years. (I do like Nintendo but there are some things they shouldn’t intrude in). I’m so excited and relieved it’s kinda back for now!
Wait Nintendo actually gave Tecmo-Koei all the rights to Fatal Frame back "Starts screaming with happiness." Now can we get a fixed up rerelease of Fatal Frame IV: Curse of the Lunar Mask including a release here in the US.

I'm somewhere in the middle on the subject. I remember when Nintendo did both. Amazing games that played great but also pushed graphics. The GC era had a lot of games like that. And now we have a pretty decently filled out year meanwhile Nintendo can keep the next installments of their key franchises close to their chest.
The quickest way to piss off SMT fans is the compare it to Persona.
My thoughts seeing in the chat idiots calling SMTV a Persona Spinoff, a Persona Clone, or a Persona Ripoff was "I want to slap you upside your head for calling SMTV a mainline game a spinoff, clone, or ripoff of Persona when Persona is a spinoff of SMT."
To be fair, we just gotta educate them SMT isnt as known in the west, especially given all the press/hype/games and content persona has had in the past few years vs SMT

There are people who don’t know who the fuck Kazuya is as much as there are people who are happy to see a TEKKEN representative. Again, something for everybody in this Direct.
