I know the imbued strategy is way to expensive but man getting those vivid stacks explosion and pulling up to 30k from a map was really satisfying. Thanks for sharing! Will def try it at start of 3.25
It's something Im really like about this league I have a bunch of money left over so now I can spend it having fun doing ridiculous farms it's pretty awesome.
Yeah the imbued strat is definitely going to be my go to if prices stay the same and I need money. Way more fun and interesting, but sometimes I go a little crazy and spend all my money (whoopsie) and need a nice "start over" kind of strat.
@@DSJeezy I've seen some people saying it's better to just run a separate tree for map sustain, since we have 3 trees now, and just go all in on Harvest for your main tree.
@@KyokujiFGC I had this commented a few times before giving it a try myself and can say it's 100% the play, especially now that T17s can just supply like 20-30 maps at a time.
I'm very glad I could help. I'm still enjoying it myself and I know many others are not subscribed to the Reddit player retention charts to tell them when it's okay to play the game. Keep having fun as long as you can and welcome to the game!
Have been saying this for so long, and the low investment should be only doubling, pack size and two fragments. You should also ignore all and rush to the harvest for the crop rotation.
You can definitely get away with dropping fewer maps than I did so swapping regular carto scarab for frags seems like a straight up improvement, but I do still recommend running the 8 mod scarab if you can handle it as the quant bonus is really something else and rolling maps myself became such a chore that I would actively trade some quant to not have to do that. Also yes if this were a crop rotation strategy you would be right! Rushing the harvest to at least see if it’s a worthwhile one before doing the rest of the map can be a good idea. All that said these strategies are open to personal preference and changes can easily be made to your liking!
A good thing to take into consideration is the time spent buying scarabs. With a low cost strategy you can buy the scarabs for a ton of maps. When i did awakener scarab i spent too much time trying to buy those and in bulk are more expensive sadlt. Nice video!!
That is certainly a benefit for something like this. I would have easily been able to purchase hundreds of scarabs in a single transaction if I wanted to. Less time trading and more time mapping does make for a better experience overall. Also thank you for your kindness!
Thank you for the video! I really liked it! The basics were explained very nicely and the in deep mathematics were shown detailed. Keep up the good work!
this might be dumb question but why is nobody using Crop Rotation? Is it that bad? I mean without the proper scarabs ive come out with like 2k juices of my chosen color... also it helps me get the boss easier
Crop rotation is really just a personal preference thing. It's certainly not bad. It feels like with no scarabs the juice on average is about the same but you can get real bad dry streaks going and it requires a lot more thought than just running in and clicking everything in sight. Both are still valid ways to play harvest. It just depends if you are okay with getting literally nothing some maps and winning the lottery in others.
Very nice! I did want to make sure the strategy was easy, no brain usage, and cheap so no rotation. I usually do run crop rotation myself though as I find it much more exciting.
Have you tried scarab of doubling plus 3 sacrifice fragments? Basically, it guaranteed a + 30% monster pack size and probably a good combination to a 8 modded corrupted map, increasing the pack size to 60% up. The downside is you cannot sustain map loot. I don't know if it is better in without crop rotation though.
I haven't given that a try. You could certainly swap out a couple of scarabs, notably the regular cartography scarab and the magic pack size one, for sacrifice fragments but with the addition of so many new scarabs I really wanted to use as many as I could! I'm not sure I could get rid of the convenience of the 8 mod scarab for just a bit of quant either. Maybe in-between sets of maps where one set is used to resupply and the next is more for profit? There's a lot to alter if you want to try it yourself too. The guidelines here are very loose.
@@Filer169 Sorry, my bad. You are right. I checked in-game and it does only increases the item quantity not the monster pack size. I guess the 8 modded map plays the biggest role for more juice loot because of its large item quantity and pack size. Also, the map modifier nodes in the atlas tree.
If you have all your voidstones, im not sure if the map tier nodes actually do anything? since all your maps drop as t16s anyway whats the point of them. Id rather just take more of the map mod effect nodes since those increase the map quant. Otherwise solid vid, harvest has been one of my favourite mechanics ever since ive started playing :)
First off, thanks so much for the kind words! I too am a harvest enjoyer. Secondly, I'm very sorry for the text wall. Please bear with me. I'm just recently learning about it but from what I understand about the map drop equity system those nodes will still increase the frequency that T16 maps drop (and therefore the chance that a T17 will drop instead) as even though you don't see those lower tiers dropping, they are still being added to the pool of equity which is used to determine when a T16 will actually be dropped for you to pick up. That said I did learn AFTER I posted this video that allocating Singular Focus causes maps that would have been converted to equity to be converted to currency instead, which basically just means that any map that wouldn't have already been a naturally spawned Jungle Valley of a lower tier will drop as a basic currency item instead of contributing to future map drops. If you are interested in learning more, the www.poewiki.net/wiki/Atlas_of_Worlds wiki page does have a small snippet under the "Map Equity" section and this Q/A from a few years ago details a few examples www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3130696 All that said, I certainly dropped too many maps and might have benefitted from more raw quantity. You can always alter the strategy to meet your needs!
I was thinking Harvest Scarab of Doubling, Scarab of Monstrous Lineage, and Horned Scarab of Bloodlines would be the best with a 40% pack size on map. Maybe Harvest Doubling Scarab, Monstrous Lineage, Scarab of the Elder, Influence scarab of the hordes with 40% pack size map. No?
That would certainly get you a lot of monsters to proc altars, but may have pushed the cost higher than I wanted. It's hard to say now as the economy is at a different place. That said I do hope that people use these guides as a jumping off point to further experiment/refine.
@@DSJeezy Cheaper aswell, On console i was investing 40-50div per 80maps, profiting 110-200divs every 80 maps not including sacred blossoms or white lifeforce
great idea with the graphic. same for maps? i purpose toxic sewer back to basic altas with all map notes. 2 cartography scarabs of doubling, 1 cartography unique map drop and 1 pandemonium scarab. in my tests i average 1.5 ziggurat maps per 1 map.
Thanks! That's quite a few T17. I've kind of purposely stayed away from B2B farming as it seems a bit boring for my tastes but maybe I'll give something like that a try if the returns really are that good.
Can you really sell harvest juice this late with the low player count? I only played this league about a week so I have no idea what the economy looks like.
I can say that I've had no issues finding buyers for juice. That may differ based on the type of juice as yellow is the big money one. The good thing about Harvest juice though is that it's very easy to go through a large quantity very quickly and thus buyers will typically take your whole stock at once.
@@DSJeezy good to know. I’d like to come back and do a bit of testing for next league but I think I only have 15 or 20 divines left I spent a ton of currency and gave some away when I quit the league
As far as I'm aware nothing has changed with Harvest that would invalidate this strategy. In fact, the QoL of single click harvesting, a sixth map device slot, and currency exchange to resupply scarabs probably make this better than it was before.
@@GlarityHD I'm not sure which ones you mean. The only changes I can see are the league mechanic now being removed from the atlas passive tree. Everything else should be almost the same if not exactly so. If you have a more precise example I can address it.
