      From what I’ve seen I don’t even think Eddie is bothered if Thor has it.
      From what I’ve seen he is in no way trying to belittle or take away Thor’s achievements. All he has a problem with is Thor trying to belittle him and accuse him of cheating/ being favourited by the refs

    Eddie broke down the door for these guys. I can remember how many of them were saying they thought Eddie had no chance at the half ton deadlift. Watching these guys attempting 505kg at this event shows just what a feat of strength it actually was when Eddie lifted that 500kg. No matter who passes 500 Eddie will always be the first. The one to push the limits and break through that mental barrier.

    • @pascal9814
      @pascal9814 3 ปีที่แล้ว +99

      @@samb4210 I mean. Eddie went from 465 to 500. That's an increase of 35kg. Thor went from 500 to 501, so 1kg. Sure, Thor beat it, but it's not comparable to what Eddie did. If Thor would have lifted like 520kg, then those two things could be comparable.
      Also beating a record by only 1 kg always leaves the feeling in the back of the head that the record holder could also have done that. Seeing how Eddie lifted 501, I am pretty sure he would have lifted 501kg too. But of course this is how the competitions go and is really fine. However I would have liked Thor to try something like 505, it should have been in his range for sure.
