@sandersjones1577 hot tenting is kinda the only way for winter I've found. I'd give anything for some Mexico sunshine tho haha. been a pretty mild winter here so far
For first setup, that went super smoothly 👌 awesome hot tent, love the little zip openings for suspension strap. Outstanding camp once again. The stove fan is addition to circulate heat 👍 dinner looked delicious 😋 nicely done Jeff.
wish I had the guy lines and stuff stitched before I went it wasn't fun getting that all setup haha. the little fan rocked except... was a little bent when I pulled it out of the pack haha. had a blast tho and roads arnt to bad hopefully up in that location one more time before I lose access.
@@JTDOutdoors definitely want to see you out there again before too much snow comes. I was wondering about packing fan and how to not bend it up, guess there is no easy way. One ill use for ice fishing won't be a problem I think I can squeeze in ammo can I pack electronics in.
@robertlee1113 your very welcome as much as I love this one there is better options. this one dosnt have a snow skirt at the bottom makes staying warm in really cold conditions a challenge just a bit of an FYI
@@JTDOutdoors I was going to pull the trigger on this thanks to your videos but after reading this comment I’ve hit the brakes. Do you still own this or have you replaced it with a better option? Would you mind sharing the better options? Greatly appreciated thanks
@Bryan24k8 i didn't replace with another hammock hot tent. I went big lol a 13ft bell tent which I'll be using very soon. as far as hammock hot tents one tigress and pomoly both make them i believe bot sure which one has a snow skirt but that's the direction id go. this is a great lil hot tent for for early or late season but dead of winter and low low temps it would be a struggle to keep heated l
it was definitely drafty and had it pitched a touch to high. could forsure pack sonow up around the edges tho. my teepee dosnt have a snowskirt either wo im accustomed to making it work with. that being said need an actauly snowfall here to try this one in. so mild and dry here its shocking.
@JTDOutdoors yeah same issue here, southern ontario ( 1hr or so south of T.O. ) ordered already should be here mid January, sounds like I'll just have to pay attention to the pitch height and hope for some precipitation.

thank you, it's really coming together. Stoves now a little small for the tent haha never ends.
I’m looking at your video to me you got it going on, cooking etc. We don’t get much snow here I’m close to the Gilf of Mexico

Looks like a great setup Jeff!! We have snow now in the UK 🥶🥶🥶 The Hot Hammock Tent would come in very handy indeed!! Think I saw the Moon a couple 😉😉
winters definitely setting in atleast you guys are passed the extreme heat you were having .
@JTDOutdoors I know what I'd rather have!! Especially when I'm on nights..like tonight

Awesome video, been eyeing this for a little while. Thanks
Glad I could help
Awesome video my friend
first time leaving the gorind in a hot tent and wont be going back to the ground in the foreseeable future lol
That hot tent looks amazing. Making me want to take the hammock out more and more
100% how im feelingvi may never go back to the ground lol
Compare to the outside temperature, his much warmer is it inside?
i have done comparisons in past videos. considering i have a wood burning stove inside its safe tocsay its much warmer
Nice! I’m also wondering if it is possible to fit two hammocks and a stove in there?
@fogerkarlsson7406 2 hammocks and the stove wouldnt work you'd be to close to the stove. but plenty of room for someone on the ground and one hammock
I love my hammock setup even for winter trips up to the mountains to trout fish, going to have to get one of these
hammocking is definitely my go to shy of alpine excursions with minimal trees. This hot tent was definitely a hame changer.
Hows the draft from the base of the tent?, would a snow pack along the base be possible without any sort of snow skirt?
