The media really spinned this one. The truth is Roma refused the offer because the Saudi only offered €5M. Before this whole thing happened it was reported he already said goodbye to a few of his teammates so it would make no sense to just refuse the contract in the end. It was done to save face and not lose the fans and his reputation
@@KK-fi6ms yeah it is weird. But they did it before with Henderson, the initial approach from Al-Shabab was for free, but Liverpool would have none of it and forced them to pay like 15mil. I guess they don't have unlimited money either and still want to save on transfer fees if they can
As a Roma fan I'll never understand how people can say that Mancini and Cristante don't deserve to be some of our biggest earners when they have literally been backbones of the team. Cristante has covered every position needed these past few seasons and racked up the highest minutes played in our squad 2 years running and has been so important for our midfield stability. Mancini is our best defender and always puts everything on the line for the team and comes up big for us when we need something, for example him scoring 2 goals again AC Milan in the Europa league games last season.
We love you Paulo… you would have remained in our hearts whether you decided to stay or not. But now you have become a legend and deserve the number 10
Just found your channel because TH-cam recommended it and I’m really surprised how good this video is! Really can see the work that went into this piece and I HAD TO subscribe! 😊 Really exited to binge old videos and watch the new ones! Love from Iceland :)
Off topic, but if us millenials refuse to call X anything but twitter, is our generation not just becoming the boomer we dislike? Just a funny pattern I noticed the last month from most channels I watch hahah.
Why would you dislike the baby boomer generation? Do you have an original thought in your fat head? Calling someone a boomer has become a shallow negative epithet used by morons to imply anyone older than you is bad.
Roma probably played close to 60 matches. They were in the semis of the Europa league as well, and that competition as 2 more games than even champions league (if you place second in your group). Plus couple of Coppa games as well
Happy he stayed...you don't see stories like these nowadays. Playing for a club you love has become so rare, while moving to a low ranked league for a huge salary has become the trend.
Al Qadsiya is not owned by the Saudi invetment fund. That's why they can't risk to put the money upfront, but can promise a salary and his stardom will bring in a lot for the club to pay it. That's why.
They're owned by Saydi Aramco, which in itself worth more than $2 trillion. They have the cash, but are not ready to spend so much right now because of a lack of proper facilities in the town of Al Khobar. They might make big signings after their new stadium has been opened.
Football fans: Why aren't players local to their clubs and why do they choose money over football? Said football clubs: Find anyway to not reward your make or break player and sell him at the drop of a hat.
Dybala is too good to let go and clearly he's made a connection with the fans, which contributed to his decision to stay.
It was quite comical to see Fabrizio Romano backtrack his comments, he hasn’t had a good week at all especially with that expose video on him 😂
The one from Alfie or is there something I should know
Wait what exposed video?
@@matthewsengendo6302 yes that one

Seems like there is a major lack of clarity on this one. I'm sure the truth will come out soon.
Source: trust me, bro
It is idiotic to believe that Arabs willing to pay 80 mil for Dybala were too stingy to pay Roma more than 5.

Paulo staying with the club was almost as exciting as Paulo signing with the club 💛❤🐺 I Giallorossi 💛❤🐺 Forza Roma 💛❤🐺 Daje Roma Daje. Ciao Wayne 👋

Absolutely agree with you there… I don’t know what that guy was on about
Even media sources were talking about how Cristante was apparently surplus to us, I don't get where these ideas come from.
Man, I glad you back 😅
I've been back for a bit now!
So glad seeing a new Rabona TV video about AS Roma! And thanks for bringing on Wayne, truly a great duo to watch.
Grazie for bringing up this story here, you got to love it man
Life hits different when you upload man, keep up the great work ❤
We love you Paulo… you would have remained in our hearts whether you decided to stay or not. But now you have become a legend and deserve the number 10
Giving credit to as Roma for using a video of their fans chanting is the small ethical steps that you love to see
I attended Roma vs Torino last season. Dybala hattrick. Enough said.......

Nah, everyone hates the name X. It's not relatable, its not catchy like Twit and the blue birdy, it's just blah.
Elon deadnames his daughter. So we deadname his silly social media. Pretty simple

Don't get caught up in these things. Every generation in history looks down up on the next. It's how it is
I’m happy he didn’t leave man trying to get into more Serie A games this year and want to see Dybala do his ting 👉
That unveiling was amazing
Well, ss soon as I jump online, I see this vid
Dybala is so inspiring for Roma. something that Pellegrini supposed to be. I'd rather see him leave than Paulo.
3:11 he says last season dybala played in 57% of matches… fotmob shows he played 39 times, did roma play that much?
I think he means across the two seasons.
Domestic cup and Europa League matches also

Great vid as usual, can you make a video on Chiesa not being part of Thiago Motta’s plans for Juve? It’s a pretty interesting scenario
Forza Roma! Thanks for the video!
Those Saudi clubs are Hella behind on player salary
Please do another Roots of the Rivalry video. Leeds- Man United, Chelsea-Tottenham, Millwall-West Ham
Love me some RTV and Roma content
Did scolani had any part in this. Cause after he rejected saudi he got in the national team.
Can't wait for the media apology tour that's not gonna happen
It is just joyous to see a footballer take a dump on dirty oil money so he can continue playing real football. Respect to Dybala.
Another Rabona TV video!

Hi Adrian.
What is the name of that chill hop song that comes in at 5:57? I’d really like to find out man. 🙏🏾🙏🏾😩
La Joya should stay, as the Gladiators would 💛🐺❤️

Rabona TV!
What’s up everyone !
He’s sold?
I am also making a chance like you love your videos
But did you get copyright??
Man this guy is so underrated.
I hope he stays at Roma, he's too good to be in the god awful Saudi league. Forza Roma.

He was supposed to be the guy and then he faded
He literally is THE GUY, we love him. He is just so good. Injures have ruined his reputation
So glad we got rid of him from Juve, he was supposed to be a star, turned out to be a part-timer with false belief in his own greatness
