Westerly Pageant "DOLPHIN" No. 33. Homeward Bound from Greece - To Bordeaux on River Garonne.

At the end of the Lateral Canal - entering and descending the River Garonne. Mooring overnight at Begles just upstream of Bordeaux and experiencing the strong ebb and flow of the tides. (Dolphin descended the river to the sea on neap tides only, but the flows were still very impressive.) Finally - stopped at Pouillac in the estuary and raised the mast, prior to venturing out into the Bay of Biscay.
