I had the honor of having this hymn played and sung by the writer, Michael Ward, during my wedding at St. Augustine's Church, Larchmont , NY

What an amazing talent he is.
I attend church at St. Augustine.
There is never a dry eye at Easter service, especially.

This is my favorite hymn. I sing it daily to bring me closer to Jesus.

We sang this song most Sundays of the Easter season, including the 50th glorious day of Easter, the wonderful festival of Pentecost, at our weekly evening celebration of the Holy Eucharist: Rite II.

Seems like a large parish. Don't you have an organ or organist to play it?

Maybe that's the arrangement the newly ordained wanted?
